"The food was bland. They were out of half the appetizers. They couldn't sell alcohol. The waiter was inattentive. I will not return here again. I will tell friends to pick a better restaurant to go to. I was very disappointed in the experience."

"We went to try Madrid, since we had a Groupon. The apple and beet salad was intereting. The gaucamole and chips were fine, but truthfully not much better than what we would get a Chipotle (just more expensive). The decor was interesting. There were only a few other people there - and none by the time we left. An employee was blaring Guns and Roses and singing along loundly for awhile - and then turned it off and no music then. LOL"

"Had originally called to make reservation and left a message. The restaurant never returned my call. The restaurant was out of every appetizer we ordered. Had to settle for chips and salsa. We received water as we sat down and were never offered another choice for beverages and the water didn't get refilled till we were leaving after our meal. Service was poor considering we were the ONLY table in the restaurant. Once we received our food, the check came immediately after, and no one checked on us till we were about to leave. The food was good but the service was poor."

"limited menu for lunch & currently not open for dinner and not open at all on weekends. Frankly, my daughter & I couldn't find anything on the menu that really sparked our interest but we had a groupon that was about to expire. We ended up getting chicken & chorizo tacos to go, and explained to the waiter that we didn't want soggy shells after a 30 minute drive home. He said he would package the shells separately & we could assemble the tacos at home. Well, he packed the shells in a styrofoam container with hot rice! Guess what, the shells were soggy! We won't go back and I won't reccomend."

"I had a great experience at Madrid and highly recommend it to others. Modern and classy interior, excellent service, and fantastic food. I went with two other people and we shared several small plates and starters, which was a nice way to sample their menu. Our table shared a pitcher of beautifully prepared and tasty sangria.
We sat in the dining room, but I would definitely come back and sit in their bar area as well."

"Loved the look of the place. Swanky w/a romantic feel at the same time. Upstairs is beautiful!!! Food was really good. Portions are so large that my husband and I both took 1/2 of our entrees home. We will definitely be going back and our dinner partners said the same thing."
