"We had nontraditional varieties of eggs benedict. Both styles were well presented and delicious. The service was good and we never were made to feel rushed."

"We ordered chicken salad crossants and the chicken had no flavor and my sister's was full of grissle. Very disappointed especially with the high cost."

"\ Bring back the fried oysters. The server said they had gotten too expensive. When they were served there too many were served. Maybe cut back the portions and have them on the menu again."

"This was the first time we used this service to make a reservation--it was good knowing we had a table ready when we arrived at the Belle Meade Plantation. Upon running late, we called the restaurant and they gave us directions and assured us our table would be waiting. 15 minutes later we arrived and got a table without problem--it was probably helpful that we ate after the lunch hour rush. Place was clean, atmosphere and staff were pleasant, and the signature Grilled Pimento Cheese Sandwich was DELICIOUS and large enough that we shared it. My friend loved her herbed grits too. Thanks for providing this service and allowing us to experience one of the Nashville area's finest restaurants."

"The Harding House could have been any place. There was really nothing that 'set it apart' to make it quaint. The ambiance was BORING. The food was awesome, but for a restaurant set within The Belle Meade PLANTATION I was disappointed. I had never been and took my best friend who was visiting from out of state and although the service was very good, it was FAST, I mean, it was OVER quickly. Like eating at a FAST FOOD restaurant instead of a quaint sit and bask in food and fellowship period type eatery. Prices were a bit high but one would be willing to pay if the whole experience would have been more "PLANTATIONy" feeling. I will probably not return to the restaurant."

"Our service by a young, black grad. student in Ed. Psychology at TSU was very good. She was knowledgeable re: the dishes and made good suggestions. Very professional. I'm glad the chef encourages sampling of dishes by the servers. the chocolate bread pudding was wonderful! The baked beans were tasty and different. I think the menu offers good choices for the cost."

"A bit over-confidently dependent on it's history. Friendly floor staff promote menu well but sometimes above what the kitchen can deliver. Adult-leaning. Not especially memorable in any way."

"food and $3 mimosas were great! Will definitely go back. Visit the great giftshop downstairs while you're there! We had a fun loving group of girls and they stayed on top of our orders (which were all absolutely delicious) AND keeping fresh mimosas on the table. We went at 9:45 which was great b/c had the place to ourselves. More people started showing up closer to 11."

"The waiter was very polite and attentive. The turkey and brie sandwich was excellent as well as the spinach salad! The pear vinaigrette dressing was exceptional! The baked 3 beans and the cole slaw were excellent as well.
The blackberry barbecue chicken with cornbread was not great. It sounded scrumptious on the menu but was too sweet and the cornbread texture was too coarse; perhaps because I prefer white cornmeal over yellow. I enjoyed the historical home and the decor. The art was beautiful."
