"We went here because we heard this was one of the best places for gourmet pizza in the city. The restaurant is geared toward young hipsters, but many of the customers were tourists (not a good sign). The pizza was good, but not worth going out of your way for. We ordered the Margherita Extra--a simple pie so the true test of good sauce and quality cheese. The Extra was supposed to be Buffalo mozzarella, and they definitely did not use buffalo mozzarella. Good mozzarella is milky white, light, and melts gorgeously. This cheese was more like processed mozzarella. The pizza did taste good, but they good two thumbs down for that cheese, and for the ambiance. The back up waiters did a great job keeping water full and clearing."

"this area really needed a vibrant and cool place to hang out after 12am! excellent and fresh food choice till late hours with fancy ambience and comfortable prices. I'm recommending it to everyone wholeheartedly!"

"I was there with my wife and we loved so so much! The food was great and the atmosphere was very vibrant. The bartender made us great drinks and was very friendly and attentive to our special requests. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends!!!"

"Ingredients tasted incredibly fresh and the pizza crust was great and fluffy without being too thick. The pizzas are individual servings (~10"), so make sure to get one per person if you have an appetite. Our pizzas were also served incredibly quickly (5-10 min wait), but we went on a weeknight evening."

"the food is quite nice. They are great with their seasoning the staff is friendly. I have yet to find someone that did not like the taste of their food.
Their menu is kinda of standard italian, no hidden thrills or surprises. I've been here at least four times and every time their bread politics seemed to have changed.Regardless, all of that gets trumped by the taste of their food."

"All I can say is that I was beyond impressed with both the food and the service of this little gem. We came with the notion that it’s just a pizza place, but the vast menu quickly overthrew our expectations. They have a variety of different pastas and entrees so we decided to give it a go. Salad ingredients are fresh and new, delightfully combined to give the perfect flavor. The Cacio pepe pasta with truffle oil is delicious and the beef baby ribs were so perfectly cooked that u keep craving for more even though u feel u’re absolutely full. There was also an extensive cocktail list with interesting and unique ingredients, and it makes it more a lounge than just an ordinary pizza restaurant type of place."

"This was far from an optimal dining experience, as we simply didn't enjoy ourselves that much and will not be back. Things started on a not so happy note, as we were forced to wait 10 minutes for our table, despite being on time for our reservation. Our food was not cooked properly, and the table next to ours had some issues with their wine. We will not be back."

"With a modern art deco twist!!
This was truly a great last minute, late night find and the service here is truly top notch! From the moment my group of 5 entered, we were warmly greeted at the door, Matthew's service was excellent and we were even given hand shakes as we were leaving!
The food is amazing! Great ambiance! Their desserts were to die for! We could not ask for a better italian meal with comforting hospitality. Thank you Forcella!!!

"I love pizza, but prefer "fresh" flavors. The fried dough technique used here really allows the crust to stay light so the fresh flavors can shine. I got the Amalfi Salad and my husband started with the Frittura di Calamri. Both were more than enough to share - the salad was enough for 4 diners.
We ordered the Porta Capuana and Montanara (with shrimp, arugula, and olives). Both were phenomenal. I asked for a touh of truffle oil for the Porta Capuana and it went from good to great! It may have been the best pizza either of us has ever had.
The Gavi di Gavi went well with the pizzas and be sure to start with a Golden Door cocktail. SO GOOD! Manuel was our server and took outstanding care of us."

"I want to believe my experience at Forcella was a unique one and therefore, I won't go as far as to not recommend others to go there. It consisted of the waitress taking down my order wrong, receiving a salad I ordered 25 minutes into the meal, a table of three (we were three, this was lunchtime) that ordered the same exact thing as us received their food about 30 minutes before us, then receiving our pizzas about 45 minutes into the meal and my pizza being wrong. We were seated upstairs and therefore our waitress only checked on us every ten minutes. At the end however, the manager or owner came over and gave us our check and it was significantly reduced for our trouble which was extraordinarily nice. Very good business practice."

"We went to try the Montanara pizza- ended up having a great dinner. Fun to try the pizza, but personally prefer regular pizza- the fried dough reminded me of a zeppole with tomato sauce on it- but that's just my preference. Our entrees included beef, chicken and fish and all three were excellent and very large portions. What made the evening such a memorable experience was our waiter, Manuel. He made us feel special and that is always a great experience to have in a restaurant.
