"Waited 15 mins for server to come by and ask us for drinks. He then messed up our appetizers despite us asking if he had it. Pizzas were borderline fair at best and rest of meal the same. Place is fine for drinks but save your $$$ on the food there."

"even almost empty this place is NOISY - it must be something about the bar being four feet higher than the dining room. it was really noisy on a Wednesday when the place was practically empty. food seems a notch above bar food but nothing particularly special - the jambalaya had been sitting in the pot too long and the rice had turned to mush. server was quite nice and accommodating so kudos to her."

"I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this westchester branch of a familiar NYC place I have gone to for years. Food and drinks were reasonable priced and the ambiance was very modern. I will be visiting again."

"We were disappointed with the service. Appetizers were not finished before main course served and then they didn't even take the plates. We had to ask to clear the appetizers to make room for dinner. It was also very rushed..on a Saturday night. The muscles, of which there are three options, we bland and were served without a bowl to place shells in."

"A nice local place to meet friend with a great beer menu and small plates for sharing. Not too health conscious a menu but friendly service and beautiful place. Better on the weeknights if you don't like it noisy as it is a lot less crowded."

"Our experience was great. This place has a welcoming feeling as soon as you walk through the door; as you walk in you see all the the action in the kitchen. Everyone is knowledgable and helpful of the menu and drinks. Food is amazing and one of a kind! Does not compare to many places on the strip. When dining you should try the stuffed meat ball, mac and cheese and black bass. And don't forget about dessert: cookie smash (4 half baked cookies with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce). Great ending to a perfect night."

"The food was very good but we drank water all night. They use way too much salt. We will not return for this reason. We were dispointed since the food was so good."

"Incredibly loud on a Saturday night. Impossible to hold a conversation. Staff is pleasant. Stuffed meatball was the best item we ate. Abigail mussels were rubbery and difficult to navigate because staff did not bring a bowl for discarded shells."

"My wife and I met old college friends and had a wonderful experience. Every course that Chef Matt Safarowic prepared was delectable and the service was highly attentive. We would definitely go back with either other friends or just ourselves for a great and reasonably priced meal. Thank you. Yorktown Steve"

"I was only there once but I think the bar has a great atmosphere and the booths are comfy I think our food was very good and the waiter was very attentive. Interesting choices. The meatball app was surprisingly delicious. Steak was perfect. Fries delicious. Spinach salad was plentiful and good. Of course the cocokie smash for dessert is too good to pass up! The bar and the tables started to fill up as we were going around 9pm"

"Had a lunch with four women. Menu was limited and rather heavy for a woman's lunch. Service was mediocre and place was empty. Sodas were in small glasses and pricey.I would not return."

"This was my second visit to the Restaurant-it has improved greatly since opening. The bar had a good looking crowd and the beer selection was excellent (try the Schneider Ice bock) The bartender excellent and helpful in selecting specialty drinks for us to try. Once seated our waitress did a good job of running through the specials and was on point all night. We started with the Tartufo pizza, (truffle, guanciale pork and an egg on top)- phenomenal- and an order of mussels. The crust was excellent and the egg, while adventurous, really did enhance the flavor. For entrees, we had the Jambalaya which was on the spicy side (in a good way) and the pan seared bass which was fresh, tender and had great flavor. We will definitely be returning"

"Loved the food!!! had a fish dish that was delicous (Beet salad was fresh and tasty as well) Atmosphere was great...big dinning space; decor was beautiful. the bar was quite big and there was not a bad seat to view the TV's as they are around t he entire bar...also the bar has plenty of tables and booths around if you want to be a little bit more intimate. Loved the place...a great find and must try!!!"

"My husband and I received a $25 coupon in the mail so we came on a Saturday for lunch. We were the only table, the restaurant had just opened, none of the TVs worked unfortunately and we wanted to watch a NCAA bball game. Food was great though, probably would come back for later afternoon or evening for better ambiance. We had wings, Greek app plate, beet salad, turkey burger."

"So I saw this place reviewed in the NY Times and decided to check it out. I have not been to White Plains in a while, and cannot believe how nice it looks. There is a little "restaurant row" right on Mamaroneck Ave.
The girls and I went out right after work to happy hour. We were able to get a booth in the bar area which was nice. The bar wasn't overly packed, but was certainly lively. Our waitress was very nice, and food came out fast. We all had salads, I had the beet salad because I wanted to try one of the items from the review. Our group also split a margherita pizza. The food was great! Just like the critic said, the menu is a step up from regular bar food. I would recommend for happy hour."

"Not as good as the review in the NY Times. The review did not say that thisbs a neighborhood watering hole ( bar) that serves unmemorable food. And they were out of ribs, one of their signature dishes. The hamburgers were very god."

"Maybe because it is relatively new, but there were several miscues. We had to wait over an hour in a nearly empty restaurant for our simple luncheon food. The server was late to show and several specialty beers on the menu were not available. Also, many staff standing around at the hostess station at the front and not being attentive to the diners. Food was mediocre. It clearly needs better overall management as it does have potential."
