"MJs is a fun place to eat with an intimate feel that gives the diner a sense of being in someone's home. The food for our meal was good although I felt my salmon was without much flavor. Everything else served was very good and had some unique qualities such as homemade pimento cheese with prosciutto and dried fruit for an appetizer. The desserts were especially good. At our table, we had the vanilla bean chocolate cake and the pineapple coconut cake. Very good. The service was superb. We were very well taken care of. I would recommend MJs to others."

"I was certainly prepared to have a nice meal at MJ's, but it turned out to be much better than I expected. Perhaps this is because I really didn't know what to expect of a restaurant in Greensboro, as we were visiting. It was very good, indeed. My family of four had salads, salmon, fish of the day, and a steak. All were very well prepared and presented, and were quite yummy. Nice wine list. The restaurant is in a charming house, and the back porch area looked like a fun place to dine, had it not been chilly. We would definitely return to MJ's!"

"Both my wife and I enjoyed the Crabcake Benedict that was served with a Grit Cake and fresh fruit. Our table, while fairly close to other diners, was set in a small niche that provided a feeling of privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the MJ Family."

"Everything was just OK. It seems a safe restaurant to choose for others but isn't exceptional. Hosts maybe could use some training. Why seat a twosome in a nearly empty restaurant right on top of another twosome! And, then forget them in the separate section. It might suggest a full restaurant of later reservations but that wasn't the case. There were still many empty tables at 8:00."

"Loved the food and service. Even though it looks small, quite spacious for a romantic dinner for two and enough space for larger dinner parties. Cannot wait to vist when it is warmer and sit on their outdoor terrace and listen to live music. BTW, get the calamari appetizer...YUM!!!"

"This is a place I will continue to come back to. The wait staff is attentive, our glasses never got empty. The food was excellent and prepared to your liking. I definitely recommend the pimento cheese appetizer. Not normally a fan of pimento cheese, but this was awesome with dried fruit and crackers."

"I was interested in this restaurant as the partking is always full.
I finally got the chance for a business dinner, but my experience was not as good as I expected.
We did not have a parking spot so that we had to park our cars in a public parking lot accross the street.
The bar space was full with customers with smiling faces. So, I am sure there are a lots of fans of this restaurant loving to hung around with familiar faces. However, this made our business dinner a bit uncomfortable because the servants were too busy to give us the enough attention and noise level was not as low as we hoped.
Dishes are OK but not quite impressive, it may be because of my high expectation."
