"The restaurant was empty (only 5 tables taken) on a Saturday night. They were out of the filet entree, which did not bode well. The food was heavily salted and mashed potatoes had been sitting on the plate before service long enough to have a film on the thin-flavorless starch. Not a restaurant that we intend to return to."

"Food was average to good. Frozen blueberries on a microwaved bread pudding dessert, and a bland side of spinach (could have used some garlic, butter or something other than the taste of just cooked spinach. Tomato sauce was bland.
Our server was wonderful and gladly gave us a generous taste of hazelnut gelato when requested, on the house. This restaurant has much potential if the chef can step it up a notch and if they advertise more. The location is out of the way, so something will need to be done to make it stand out among the crowd of available italian restaurants in the area."

"We were a party of 2 and it was our first "try" there and we really enjoyed it. We will go back for sure. We had absolutely no complaints about anything and the owner was friendly and came to our table to say hello and ask how everything was and we were happy to tell him that it was totally delish! We thought it was such a nice touch to have to owner come to your table and talk to his customers!! The decor is great, it's spotlessly clean, colorful and bright and uplifting NOT dark and drab and blah. Loved the food, the wine, our server was a young man who was polite, helpful, not pushy or rushing us and came to our table several times to refill water glasses and check to see if everything was ok and did we need anything."

"The food is passable and the service, while polite, was perfunctory. Wait staff can recite the menu, but, given how few people were in the restaurant, the energy level and knowledgeable interplay you might get in a restaurant at this price level was missing. Have been there twice and food was fine, but nothing to rave about. Overall, my sense was that this restaurant aspires to be a higher end restaurant than its staff, management and chef can actually pull off."

"My wife had the chicken scallopini which was too salty. Prosciutto pieces were too large and even the pasta absorbed the salty flavor. Couldn't eat much of it. Our other 3 meals were disappointing including finding an octopus in a plate it wasn't supposed to be in.
Would not return."

"Our dinner and service were both excellent. The brasato (braised short ribs) was absolutely wonderful, tender and great flavor. It was too cold and wet for outdoor dining, but their location and set up is perfect for when good weather arrives."

"Very accomodating, great staff, attentive. We were a party of six with four having a different entree,one couple had the same entree. Everyone was more than pleased with the flavor of the food, it was hot, and the portions were generous; the ladies took a "doggy" bag home.
The wine list was extensive and reasonable. The owner circulates the dining room, and our waitress, with her charming Italian accent, was great!!
This was our second visit and, we will be back!!"

"Outstanding Service! Waitress was knowlegable, friendly, attentive but not in your face every five minutes. Owner as accesible and cordial and showed he truely cared. They went out of the way to make changes from the menu for two of our dishes. The food was very good, but the "wow" factor was missing. The fruiti de mare didn't have enough broth and the clams were too small. Our filet special was disappointing and overcooked. We will return because we felt welcomed and had a great time."

"First time there. Snow covered patio looks good for summer dining. Have no experience with the other special features listed above, but the four of us had a very enjoyable late luncheon served by not only great staff but the owner himself came to say hello and ask how everything was. That's always appreciated."

"Simply one of the best Italian restaurants in an area full of them. It is truly authentic, not an Americanized version. The chef is ceative but stays within the traditional style in most cases. The service is excellent with few, if any,, mistakes being made. The prices are a bit on the high side by in line with the area. The wine list is ok with a fairly broad sweep of Italian regions but doesn't have a whole lot to choose from so if you are into wine you won't be disappointed. So with the food, the wine, ad the serviec you'll have a great night at this place. Well worth the trip."

"Our first visit to this restaurant, which was pretty empty when we arrived on a Friday evening. Prices are relatively high for this type of restaurant in this location, especially when you consider that entrees and pasta dishes do not include salad. My wife's pasta dish was luke warm when it came out of the kitchen, and the bread in our bruschetta was burnt. Overall, not a positive experience and we won't return."
