Chef David Himmel arrived from New York 17 years ago with his family looking to venture into a new concept in fine dining. Chef David sold his first successful fine dining concept Eilat Café in 2007. DD Flats was then created with an inviting, contemporary atmosphere, an eclectic wine list, and a unique international menu.
Voted the 'Best of Boca' by Boca Magazine, and rated on the A list, in its first year of operation, DD Flats has already proven to be an icon in the industry. One of the first flatbread restaurants, David and Danielle created a concept, refreshing and trend setting. "This restaurant has a long list of interesting flat breads. The flat breads have an international flair, we have tried many of them over the past few years and have enjoyed most.This is a good spot for a casual lite meal."
