"We had been to Perla's a few months ago and were super disappointed with the quality and price of the food. We decided to try Clark's. It was amazing! We loved the small, intimate space and the delicious food. I had the baked oysters and hubs enjoyed the Redfish and corn/clam chowder. We also had the key lime tart for dessert. Everything was very tasty and our service was outstanding. We highly recommend Clark's!"

"Have been at Clark's the past several Sundays. It is a small neighborhood spot, a scaled down Perla's, with excellent cocktails and a great selection of seafood. The menu is not as broad as Perla's, but features some of their greatest hits, like wonderfully fresh oysters and a superb (but pricey) lobster roll. Very casual, very comfortable with a real Nantucket feel. Oh and Estrella from Barcelona on tap!"

"The lobster roll was to die for. We also had several of the oyster selection and it was great (good cocktail sauce, and fresh horseradish). Also, the staff is very knowledgeable with the menu, which helped guide our choices. We will definitely be back for more."

"Wow, loved our dinner at Clarks. I don't even eat oysters and had to try them and so glad I did. I ordered the lobster with farm eggs, it was so rich and flavorful. Another person got the crabcake, probably the best crab cake I have had. Hard to get reservations, but well worth the wait!"

"The food at Clark's is excellent. Although the restaurant is quite small, you don't feel cramped. I've been for both lunch and dinner and would recommend Clark's to anyone who appreciates great oysters, caviar or just wonderfully prepared fish. My lunch companion also told me that they have the best burger in town."

"New to town, we were searching for an oyster bar to have something a bit different. I recommend you show up early to find a parking spot. We parked a block away and had an enjoyable walk to lunch. The weather was great so ask to be seated outside. Seating is limited so get a reservation online ahead of time. The waitstaff will explain the different regions of where the oysters come from. They are friendly and smart. The food is beautiful, delicious, and the atmosphere friendly as you would expect in Austin. Neat tidbit ... Walk just a block east to coffee and desert. And don't forget to try the local ipa beer. You won't be disappointed!"

"The oysters were fresh and tasty.the entree(redfish) was ok. The dessert was somewhat bland(dulce de leche cake).the waiter seemed bothered if we asked for anything at all. If your just looking for oysters and a beer I would recommend this place otherwise it was expensive and IMO not worth returning to."

"clark's had a very impressive list of oysters, and nice entrees. all in all, a good experience, just extremely expensive. as far as i recall, one of the most expensive restaurants in Austin. if you do not mind the price, definitely worth trying out."

"An excellent choice for seafood! We had the Plateau de Fruit de Mer, a cold medley of oysters, lobster, crab and mussels and it was delicious. It is very elegant dining with a great atmosphere. The only negative is the waiter preparation bar being right behind your head if you are sitting on the banquet side. The wait staff and hostess are friendly and personable as well as efficient. The fish tank is mesmerizing."
