"We were early for our reservation, so we stopped in the bar for a drink. The music was too loud to carry on a conversation without yelling. Once we were all seated in the dining area, the music was quieter so that the 6 of us could talk. The meal was wonderful, and we were not rushed in our birthday celebrations, even though there was a lineup at the door. Great steaks!"

"not often we do go out, but when we do, we like to eat at the Keg. Wife's birthday party (55th) so we went to Keg with my son and his wife. Atmosphere is nice, booths were a bit small but OK. Although we all agreed that the food was good, it was NOT hot when it was delivered to our table. Warm, yes,...not hot food. seems it sat under a heated lamp for a bit??]

"The Keg is one of our favorite restaurants. Usually the food is outstanding but this night it left a bit to be desired. My vegetables were overcooked and limp, yet barely lukewarm. The clarified butter was also just warm when it arrived. Finally, the creme brulee wasn't creamy as I've had in the past at this restaurant ; it almost had a texture to it, perhaps overcooked or old? We don't go to The Keg that often so I don't know if this was just a bad day in the kitchen or if the quality of the food has slipped generally.
Our server was pleasant, very efficient and earned her tip.
I'll give it another shot because I really do like The Keg...usually!"

"Our waiter overheard us wishing our daughter Happy Birthday and came back to say she would get a complementary dessert which was such a nice touch. We had no idea what the dessert would be as we had only looked at the entree part of the menu. It was a huge piece of cheesecake with forks for us all. Our only regret with this was the cheesecake (which we all love) had almonds sprinkled on it so our son couldn't partake with us but luckily our birthday girl doesn't have a nut issue and could eat it.
Our steaks were all perfectly cooked, tender and delicious and the twice stuffed potatoes were awesome."

"We had a nice meal. Being a higher end resturant I was surprised that the creams for the coffee were just skimmed milk. It's like what happened here, not half and half or some type of creamer but skim milk !!!!! That really surprised me and did not seem fitting for this type of establishment. Something that had real cream written on it would have seemed much more apropriate."

"We had fantastic service! Food tasted great, but I had the beef ribs and they came out cold! By the time the waiter came back to the table it would of been another 25 min before I could get another set. So I didn't worry about it! Over all was greet!"

"While the food is always good at the Keg, the OpenTable reservation that I made didn't exactly work out the way I had hoped. I have made reservations before with OpenTable with other restaurants and have been very satisfied; however I have never used OpenTable with a chain restaurant like the Keg. It turns out that your reservation means nothing at the Keg! I had made the reservation for 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday and arrived at about 7:25 p.m. The hostess said it would be just a little bit closer to 7:30 p.m. before my table would be ready. By 7:50 p.m., the hostess finally seated us. As well, there was another two groups with reservations who had the same problem. Don't bother with reservations!"

"Overall we had an excellent night out. We were seated near the entrance so there was more noise than I would have liked but it wasn't a big issue. The service was excellent; pleasant knowledgeable staff, prompt delivery of food and beverage, very attentive without being overbearing. Our meals were prepared as ordered and delivered promptly. We will definitely return."
