"The food was outstanding, but the restaurant is small. We were squished in the corner next to a very loud party. This made it hard to have a conversation at the table and sometimes I felt like I had to shout in order for the person sitting directly across from me to hear what I was saying. The food was really great though! Definitely will have to come back and try their other dishes."

"The place was deceiving since the restaurant was located in a strip mall. From the outside, you may be disappointed but once you step in, the atmosphere changes as if you are in Italy. The food is excellent and worth for the price you pay."

"We had a 8:15 reservations and we were within 5 mins, our server was outstanding and knowledgeable of the menu. Our app was with fresh mozz and mango and candid pecans and argula and prosuitto. Dinner for me gnoggi and brasied beef sirlon in white wine reductions sauce very good. Would highly recoommend. Have waited months to get in on a Saturday night it was worth the wait."

"Luca's Ristorante was a delicious spot for my boyfriend's birthday! It is BYO, however they do have a vineyard license. We brought our own wine. Anyway, the service was decent...slightly slow, though friendly. We ordered the spiedini, which was incredible as an appetizer. My boyfriend had the veal saltimbocca and I ordered the tilapia with lump crabmeat and pasta. Both entrees were excellent and I took half of mine home. The restaurant offers daily specials as well, which looked amazing on other Payton's dishes. The desserts are brought in locally and the crem brûlée was amazing. Great local spot!!"

"We were there to celebrate Mother's Day a couple of weeks later because of crazy schedules. We had to eat early on a Saturday night, 5:30 because that was the only time we could get a reservation. Once we got in there and had the food we understood why it was so difficult to get a reservation. The service was terrific, they gave us just enough time to enjoy our courses without us feeling either neglected or rushed. The food was wonderful as well, the only comment my fellow diners had was that the calamari was a bit overcooked. I don't eat it so I cannot comment but everything on my plate and everyone's dinner was fantastic! We will absolutely return!"

"We invited a couple celebrating their 50th anniversary to dine with us at Luca's. Our choice was based on 2 previous excellent lunches there. Although we were half an hour early and our dining partners, tied up in traffic, were half an hour late, the staff seated us immediately and made us comfortable with a bottle of wine and basket of delicious breads. When our dining partners arrived, our orders were quickly taken. We all had different appetizers and entrees, and each was outstanding. Portions were so generous that we each took home enough for lunch for 2 the next day. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates a good meal!"

"We celebrated my husband's birthday at Luca's and everything about the evening was magical. The decor of the restaurant reminded us of being back in Italy. Our waiter Angelo was warm and friendly and accommodated our every request. The freshly baked breads, olive oil with herbs, and sun dried tomato spread were an outstanding beginning to our meal. The appetizers were especially amazing. The burrata was creamy, fresh, and flavorful. The crab and corn chowder was rich and one of the best soups we had ever tasted. The petit Osso Bucco was delectable. Our experience at this restaurant was so wonderful that I returned a few nights later with a group of women. Same wonderful waiter and superb food experience. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"Surprisingly great restaurant in strip mall. Food was excellent. Only complaint was that theyran out of a special and it was onlyh 6PM on Saturday night!
Great Italian food. Risotto and fish dishes were superb. Kids loved the Margharita pizza and the pasta. Great bread basket."

"WOW! What an unexpectedly great experience! Nothing about the exterior of this little gem gives a hint to what is on the inside. Certainly other reviews on the site and other sites gave some hint...but I have been misled before by web reviews. The ambience of the restaurant speaks to the heritage of Luca the owner. The wait staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious and the portions were abundant..first time in a long time that I needed a doggie bag. I would (and already have )) recommend Luca's to my friends."

"Greeted by gum popping waitress who asked us to hand her the wine glasses we didn't use. There was a loud , noisey party nest to us and even though we had a reservation, they wouldn't move us. My veal came with potatoes, and when I asked if I could substitute pasta for the potatoes, I was told the chef doesn't like to substitute and that pasta wouldn't hold the sauce. Service took forever for our salads and then another lifetime for our meals to arrive. The meals were each over $25 and so not worth it. The veal parm. tasted like chopped veal. My veal was so salty I couldn't eat it. My daughter's lobster canneloni tasted too "fishy." What a waste of time and money."

"Beautiful ambience and decor, small place but very quaint and elegant. The food was spectacular. Everything that my date & I ordered, we devoured. The entrees were particularly large portions. Service was attentive, but also did not rush us. BYOB. All in all, pretty much the perfect Italian spot for a date."

"No bar and serves wine only by the bottle. Wait staff would take only the full order without the appetizer going into the kitchen first. The restaurant was very noisy. However, the wait service was pleasant and the food was very, very good."

"It was nice that we could bring our own wine. The food was a bit pricey, however, the quality of the food was excellent. I think this is more of a special occasion option because of the pricing. The bill for 3 adults with tip was just under $150, and we brought our own wine. It was my birthday, and I was surprised that they didn't offer the one dessert as complimentary seeing as we'd ordered 2 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 2 coffees. That just would have been a nice gesture. I thought it odd that when we couldn't decide on our entree that we weren't allowed to put in for the appetizers until we were ready to order our meal. The setting was really cute, small and quaint, and you could forget you were in a stip mall type of location."
