"I was walking by and stumbled upon Izakaya M. It looks like a whole in the wall. It is pretty dark and cozy in here. So it would make a good date night. And to top it off the food was great so I will be going again. You must try the Miso Salmon skewers!"

"This is a neighborhood gem. I hadn't been for a few months and took a friend that was in town. She loved it! Many new items on the menu that sounded great. Also, they have a late night Happy Hour from 10:00-11:00 pm. A short window, but good to know if you are craving sushi late night."

"Not the best Sushi that I have had but neither are the rest of Sushi houses in LA. The service is very good, unique setting and priced nicely. I like that they offer brown rice with their sushi. I would return to Izakaya."

"Never again - faux Japanese food, almost no service at all, totally surreal and not in a good way; but then I discovered it was an offshoot of the simply terrible Midori (all you can keep down)Sushi. Ahhh so!"
