"We always come back for the lasagna It is always good. The only thing is this time the lasagna noodles we noticed were a little thicker than usually, we like them a little more light and fluffy but still very good . Price on the way was very reasonable and the whole meal very enjoyable Good service as well love the garlic knots, maybe a little more garlic on them"

"We had a party of 10 and the service and food were wonderful. Ten meals and all were winners. Hot garlic rolls are legendary and not to be missed. See you again very soon."

"Don't let the location fool you. It may be in a strip mall on the east side of 75, but the food is very good. Extensive menu with some very nice wines to offer. Very good service and a nice atmosphere will bring us back again for sure. Authentic Italian cuisine with more choices then you can possibly imagine, you'll sure to find something you like."

"We had a guest in town, who likes to visit Giovannis when he is in town, so we did. Of course, our food was delicious. You can always count on consistency with the food at Giovannis. If you enjoy your meal once, you will always enjoy your meal. Our server, Paula, is the best as well."

I have eaten at Giovanni's 3 times in the last 6-8 weeks. Each occasion has been a wonderful dining experience. The service was excellent. (Darlene and Dan) The food and wine lists were as expected. Great selection of wine and the food was excellent. Not to mention that the bottle of wine was half off.
Each time we went there we took guests, which was the main reason why we went there. We trusted that Giovanni's would not disappoint us and they excelled!"

"We were a table of eight that sat outside. It took 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there. Meanwhile, tables around us were being serviced properly. It took two trips inside to ask about getting some service before we got a waitress.....and our host knew the owner! Don't know what the problem was but it will not happen again."

"We had a really good dinner at Giovanni's - their pizza is outstanding. The only complaint - very noisy!! Seemed like people were talking very loudly, trying to be heard above the TV's. But overall - great food...we will come back!"

"Fusilli Calabrese was watery and flavorless. Parmesan cheese was not offered and had to be requested. Broccoli rabe had a burnt taste to it. Rolls served were soaked in garlic oil and were greasy and messy. Servers did not notice empty water glasses and had to request twice for refills on water. NY strip sirloin was pretty good. Eggplant parmesan was okay but below expectations for an Italian restaurant."

"This is a very good restaurant. Their red sauce was excellent. I had one of the eggplant dishes and it was terrific. The sauce had nice body to it but was still light enough not to overpower the eggplant. I ate the whole thing, which is rare for me, especially in an Italian restaurant where the portions are usually too big."

"Food was good and prices reasonable for Naples, but there were problems with service. We made a reservation for 7:45 15 minutes ahead (we were only 5 minutes away). We arrived to find lots of other people with reservations waiting to be seated. We finally got our table about 8:30. Our waiter was disinterested at first but warmed up eventually. At 10:00, as we ate dessert with after dinner drinks, the lights went up and the entire staff began cleaning in earnest. Total bill with tip for two people was over $200.00."

"We come to Giovanni's often when we are here, and always enjoy the food & service. We sat in the back room this time and the noise level was way too loud. You could hardly talk and there were 4 of us.
Unfortunately, we couldn't get through to make a phone reservation, so we went on line. Had we known that was our only choice, we wouldn't have come. But your food is good. The portions seem less. One thing we think that it's a bit ridiculous to charge $3.99 extra for having garlic & oil on our pasta vs the red sauce.
all in all, we enjoy Giovannis.
Mike"

"We had a delightful dinner. The restaurant was extremely accommodating. We were seated immediately. The food was great. Our waitress couldn't do enough to make our evening memorable. She was very attentive as well as not rushing us. The restaurant was very busy but we were allowed to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. This was much appreciated."

"Service was bad, soup was tasted as if watered down. Salad almost non-existent. Most expensive steak was tough. Desert was bad, sent back. Could hardly see wine in glass when served. Bread late in coming always looked for waitress to refresh drinks. For the money it was a rip off!"

"Wanted to get a little bit out of of the hustle and bustle of downtown Naples during the high season and found this little Italian gem at Pine Ridge near I-75. Food was outstanding and the service was cordial and professional. Another pleasant surprise was the depth and quality of the wine list. All around this is a good selection for great food and wine at reasonable prices."

"We came here 5 years ago when we first came to Florida. It was suggested to us through the concierge service on our car phone. We forgot what the name of it was and couldn't remember how we got there. We knew what the surroundings were like and started our hunt to find it this year. Much to our surprise we located it and it is one of our favorite places to go. Food is AWESOME and the bread is to die for. YUMO :) Fair pricing for all meals and the service was wonderful."

"I'm sorry to say my experience was less than what I've grown to expect from you. I ordered fetichini with clams fra diablo. my mistake I did not order it red. It was taken back & sauce was poured over it.(not really how it should be prepared)I graciously accepted it & my first taste not only told me it was plain sauce but the clams were not really very fresh tasting but a bit gritty or not quite cleaned enough. the rolls & salad was fine. a quite busy nit added to a very long wait for our meal. I've been eating here for years & must say you could do better.you always were quite a good dining experience."

"Giovanni's is in my neighborhood, the Vineyards, Naples FL. I go there a lot. Great Italian food, friendly servers. The bar is small and you have to get there early to get one of 4 booths -- 4:30 or 5:00 pm. There are a few tables as well. However, it's worth it because it feels like the perfect neighborhood watering hole. Happy hour prices on food and drinks are very generous, and the pizzas are great. Very noisy, though.
In the main dining room it's much quieter. The food is excellent Italian fare. The ambiance is very pleasant as well. I go there occasionally with guests or on special occasions."

"The veal picatta was tasty but the portion wouldn't satisfy a child (3-4 ounces). When advising us of the specials, price was not mentioned. Don't feel like we have to ask what the cost is. Should be automatic for the server to mention the prices. There were three couples and the waitress made no attempt to find out if we wanted individual checks. When the check arrived we split it 3 ways. However, one couple had a dispraportionate number of drinks and we were too embarassed to request individual checks, so the two remaining couples were penalized on the transaction. The total check was in excess of $325 including the automatic gratuity.
If we return, we'll have to be more proactive with respect to the above items. Shouldn't have to be."

"The food was very good; however everything else was very bad. We were seated at a less than desireable table in a high traffic area. We ask to be seated elsewhere, and the restaurant was nearly empty at the time, but the hostess said that all the tables were reserved. She simply did not want to redo her seating chart. After some discussion the manager overheard the conversation and had us reseated.
Next, we were served a salad or appetizer but the entree was brought to the table well before we were finished our first course. The server tried to make room for our entrees, but in doing so took our bread plates and bread and never brought them back. We felt like they wanted a quick table turnover."
