Welcome to our second "home" where we live by our motto - Life is a delicious journey.
Our life journey has brought us to Naples. It was love at first sight! We owned a restaurant and catering business in Kansas, so it was natural for us to think about opening an establishment in Naples. The name NewsStand came after we talked about the type of menus we would like to have. We wanted to have something for everyone. Remembering newsstands of our childhood and how they offered variety - "Something for everyone" - from newspapers and magazines to snacks - the name was a natural choice. To mirror the idea of variety, Julius has created a very diverse menu for your enjoyment.
On our menus you will find some classics of French cuisine and some Eastern European specials, as well as some unique items created by Julius.

"I love the Newstand Cafe because I try different cuisine from a variety of countries. Enjoy their eclectic menu and friendly service. The atmosphere is intimate and once we discovered it we have returned 3 times in a month."

"This tiny place was bustling when we arrived. Thankfully we had a reservation. Our waitress was very cheerful and attentive. Wine list was limited. Food choices were interesting. We enjoyed the escargot. I ordered chicken paprikash, which is favorite of mine. Unfortunately it was rather bland although the spaetzel was very good. This place serves breakfast & lunch too so we'll give it another try."

"We were very impressed with the NewsStand. The service by the owners Martina and Julius was outstanding, they really make you feel welcome.The menu is quite extensive but the high lights in my mind are the Eastern European and international selections.
I had the pork shank and it was delicious, my wife had schnitzel and while it was very good she was jealous of my selection.
This is a small place in a medical/dental complex so the ambiance while nice is not what I would call special . Everything else is special, highly recommended."
