"Some of the finest Italian food I’ve ever eaten. The Lasagna opened a whole new world for me; the desserts are fabulous; but the best may bee the flat bread with the sundries tomato olive oil at the beginning of the meal! Make this your next stop for dinner — do not pass go!"

"I love everything about Mio! The food is fabulous and the service is wonderful. I've been there with my husband, girlfriends and children. Each time the service and meal was perfect. There are a variety of dishes from which to choose and the presentation is well done. The atmosphere is very nice but stuffy. I've taken my middle school kids there for dinner a couple of times and they love it too. While I've seen many children in the restaurant, it's not overrun with kids. Kids are made to feel welcome and not tucked away in a corner."

"I visit my aging mother in Leawood at regular intervals, and she always wants to go to Moscone, which serves excellent Southern Italian cuisine. This time, though, I convinced her to try something new, and Mio proved a perfect choice.
Food was outstanding, with some lighter, yet very flavorful choices on the menu. Just as important, though, service was top of the line. Very competent and attentive wait staff.
I will be returning every time I come back to visit from North Carolina."

"My hubbie Chip and I are "regulars" and have brought our kids, our kids friends, aas well as other friends & family here to dine. Sometimes tho, we just love coming by for a dinner for 2 (xo)!! The staff is super friendly and everyone is so welcoming. That, along with the great food, is what keeps us coming back again & again!!! Our fav waiter is Ashley - who found a great Malbec that I love. We are bringing the extended family to Mios to dine for Mother's Day dinner - Yay!! Can't wait!!"

"We went on a Sunday evening and it was there first time open for Sundays. It was very quiet and great to have a conversation with the people we were with. The food is really good. I highly recommend the lasagna. My wife and I split the lasagna and we had plenty of food. We will be back."

"The restaurant provided an extremely friendly atmosphere that made us feel like we were old friends. The wine list offered all Italian wines and was cleverly divided into three pricing categories: $25, $45 & $100.00 per bottle. The Sommelier was very helpful when selecting a wine. The friendliness of the restaurant extended to the executive Chef & owner, Julian Viso, visiting every table. The food was excellent!"

"This was our first time to dine at MIO. It was a very pleasant surprise. The menu consisted of various choices and the portions were quite ample. "We had a great dinner for our first time at Mio's. My wife had the lasagna and she said it was the best she has ever had. I had the special which was swordfish with some type of orange flavoring which was great and probably healthy. We use the restaurant on a business expense account therefore we get to go there more often than we would if we were paying by ourselves. "Everyone was so friendly! We were seated promptly, and our waiter was at the table almost immediately. He was knowledgeable, well versed about their wines, answered all questions and was very quick to offer good service. The food was quite enjoyable, coming out to the table in a relatively short time. The owner/chef was circulating throughout the restaurant and stopped by our table to introduce himself and visit briefly. A very enjoyable experience."

"I went to Mio for the first time on Valentines Day night. I was very pleased with the attentive service. The owner even came to speak with us for about 10 minutes. The food was delicious. If the service and food were great on such a busy evening, I can hardly wait to try it on a less busy night."
