"Went to Wine Experience with a friend. Loved the cafe ambiance, and the food was spectacular! I had sea scallops that melted in my mouth. The wine flights were great with beautiful wines, although they need to update the menu for the flights to reflect the actual wine used. The service was prompt and professional, but the waitress was not fun or friendly, which I would expect for a local, neighborhood place. Wine should not equate to snooty. Otherwise, I loved it and I'm certainly going back."

Review 2 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"Very, quiet. There was no one there but the 2 employees. We knew that we were going to be in the area and decided to try it. It was o.k. for something different but I am not quite sure I will do it again."

Review 3 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"First time in and it was so loud that we could not converse. There are a lot of tables crowded in and no romantic spots. There were two crying children and it echoed loudly. The table next to us left because of that. A good manager would step in and offer the parents something to take the cryer outside. The waiters were overwhelmed and rushing around. It made for an anxiuos environment. We ordered a wine flight and cheese plate. The man who brought the wine was nice and explained all the wines, but the server who brought the cheese just dumped it off. We decided to leave after that and went elsewhere for dinner."

Review 5 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"We love this neighborhood gem. Awesome food, incredible wine list, personalized service. Since it is in the neighborhood we don't have to go downtown to have a wonderful dining experience. This is not a chain and is very unique. Thank you Wine Experience."

Review 6 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"Always a dynamic menu at The Wine Experience Cafe. There always seems to be something new on the menu and selections for every appetite. The portions are very generous and if they have the Mac & Cheese on the menu, do not pass it up...even if you order it as an appetizer for the table. Then there is the wine list. If you love good wine, you will be satisfied with the selections available by the bottle or glass."

Review 8 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"We've found Wine Experience a couple years and have been 6 or so times, and have enjoyed it every time. We almost always run in to the owner, who is very friendly and passionate about the food and wine there. The wait staff is always terrific, and we've never been disappointed by the food. Favorites of mine include the calamari, and the duck breast, but the menu is seasonal."

Review 10 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"This was our second visit to Wine Experience Cafe because we so enjoyed our first visit. Disappointed that we were placed right next to the kitchen (noise), when there was plenty of seating available that night. The staff was certainly in a rush to clear the table of any items almost empty, as if the table was needed for another reservation that never appeared. Loved the wine, but it didn't feel like a leisurely dinner. This time the positive experience just didn't come together when trying to show it off to our out of state company."

Review 14 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"Overall the food was good, but my beef bourgignon was quite gristly. My mussels appetizer was delicious, and I really enjoyed the small after dinner cheese plate. My desert bread pudding was just okay. I came with my infant son and two friends for 52.80 week. The place was packed, so the noise level was high enough to mask my son's exuberant gibberish, I'm not sure what it would be like at other times. I would have liked to have seen was suggested wine pairings on the menu. Overall it was good, but not sure I'd pay the regular menu price to go back..."

Review 16 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"We have had consistently good dining at the Wine Experience. Given the SE Aurora is dominated by mediocre chain restaurants it's great to have a local spot with great food, service, and wine."

Review 21 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"We were there for a girlfriend's birthday and it happened to also be 52.80 restuarant week. Our server was less than friendly. Not a smile from this gal, no up selling going on. We needed to ask for our drink before dinner. We were told we needed to decide on our appetizer, dinner and dessert all together. She made it clear that we would be ordering when and how she wanted us to do so. We were THE only people in the restaurant when we arrived at 5:45 on a Monday."

Review 22 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"Our latest visit to Wine Experience Cafe was rather disappointing. It was Valentine's night and the restaurant was crowded so they can't be blamed for the overall noise as it as somewhat expected. However, the set price menu for the evening was expensive for the quality of food. My steak, sent back once, was not cooked correctly the second time either. Had I been with only one other person, I would have sent it back again, but my table-mates were nearly done with their meals so I took it. Mashed potatoes were bland and super dense. The chocolate bread pudding dessert could not have been more dry - closer to a chocolate piece of toast. And the pastry cream was incredibly dense as well. Very disappointing visit."

Review 25 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"Horrible and wayyyyy too expensive for what you get. They charge more than Del Friscos but with less service, ok food, and no ambiance to justify the price. We were tricked on Valentines Day in to paying $300 for 2 people at a cafe in a strip mall. Very disappointed and they never disclosed any prices until the check came. Would never go back. Take your $300 and go take 4 people to a Del Friscos instead!"

Review 26 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"Thought appearance and overall ambience was nice. The food was good not exceptional. The service was very average for $85.00 a plate. Not very knowledgeable about the wine or the food. Was asked to give order before he even took a drink order, so in other words we felt rushed. Maybe a little more wine and food training would be in order."

Review 27 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"Food was great. Service was very good. Wine list acceptable. Only complaint is that I bought a bottle of wine with dinner that cost $99. After dinner we walked through the store and found the same bottle of wine, same vintage for $45. Ridiculous mark-up!"

Review 28 for Wine Experience Cafe and World Cellar
"We were there to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary. Even though they were setting up for a "wine pairing" dinner for approximately 30 people we got right in and were seated by the fireplace. Our wait staff were very prompt bringing ice water and a bread basket as soon as we sat down. We ordered our cocktails and when Jessica, our waitress, brought them she asked if we wanted to order. We told her we'd like to enjoy our cocktails first and she honored our wishes and didn't come back until we were ready. Outside the snow was lightly falling and we were warm and cozy inside enjoying a fabulous dinner that was delicious from start to finish. It was really a magical evening!"
