"We had a group of 7 and the food was excellent. We brought our own wine this time but ordered wine by the glass the first time and it was quite good. We enjoyed live music and the waiter was very attentive. This is the second time we have eaten there and have been very pleased both times. I would highly recommend Flora."

"Upon arrival our party of 5 was met with a friendly staff. All choices of appetizers, entrees and dessert were very tasty and delicious. I recommend getting the special of the day as it was very fresh and aromatic. Definitely a place to bring clients or friends. The fireplace lent a great warm atmosphere compared to the snow outside."

"There were only a few tables filled with patrons during our visit yet it took 30 minutes to receive a soup appetizer. It took almost an hour to receive our main course. I realize the main course is cooked to order but with so few tables filled, I'd hate to see what the wait time is when the restaurant is fairly busy. The chichen dish was wonderful but the salmon dish was horrible. I couldn't eat it but didn't want to send it back fearing the wait time of receiving another dish so my husband ate most of it. The fish dish tasted like a fish market smells. It was so fishy tasting. I love fish but cannot stand fishy tastes. I have never had a salmon dish that tastes fishy before. Its like a fish tank was poored into it."

"Very creative menu. We loved the unique sauces. Everything was cooked perfectly. It was quiet and romantic- we sat by the fireplace. Good to see a kids' menu with $5 meals-- You don't often find a fine dining restaurant with a reasonably priced kid's menu.
Waiter was enthusiastic about the dishes and answered all our questions, even going to ask the chef. We hope to be back and try their brunch."

"We have eaten here 5 times now and we love it. The best thing on their menu is the pork osso bucco. To die for. Honestly though, I have never eaten anything here that is not spectacular. Defintely worth checking out."

"The establishment was entirely empty when we arrived and never gained more than 2 other couples. The food was nice, but very overpriced for the small amount and for the only slightly above average quality. The one item of note that I cannot say a single negative comment about was the waiter. He was absolutely wonderful in his friendliness, his knowledge of the products, and his ability to quickly adapt to requests. The food was not bad, but for the price, I would expect something far superior."

"THis is a nice setting - a beautiful fireplace, there is plenty of room between tables, the service is polite and good. They give you a lot of food but I would say it is only fair. In my opinion they use too much salt. The garden salad had a type of green that I don't care for - stringy and tough and the candied walnuts were strangely salty. The chicken Marsala was good except again that it was coated in a salty crust. It came with mashed potatoes and zuccini, which were good."

Overblown sauces with no relationship to the rest of the dish, gristly meat (pork chop), stale and cold vegetable sides, and wine by the glass that was definitely not opened recently. "it's nice to have a new neighborhood restaurant in the area that isn't fast food or a soup and sandwich place. The food at Flora was very good...the presentation on the plate was nice...portions were just the right size. Our desserts were also very good. However, not sure if they are still trying to work out the kinks in the kitchen. It took FOREVER to get our food. Even our soup took a good 15 minutes to get out to us. Then our entrees took another 20 minutes. A family near us was seated before we arrived. We ordered, had our meal and dessert before they got their food. If you are going to have a kids' menu, you better get food out fairly soon or you won't see families coming in. Hope they figure this out. It could be a nice spot."
