"The hostess did not have a computer at the hostess stand so our reservation although accepted was not really honored. When we arrived we were told we'd have a 20 minute wait but ended up waiting an hour. Wish they would have been more prepared. The restaurant seemed very understaffed for the amount of people and size of the place. The view is amazing and the restaurant is nice. The food was good all around. One meal did not arrive with the rest of the table's meals though which again didn't leave a very positive experience. The steaks were all around very good and everyone was very pleased with their meals. The view of the falls is great, I think if it was less busier it would have been much better."

"The Keg's prices are high but you get what you pay for. Succulent steaks are obviously the main draw! Also have to commend them for the service, we had Katie as our server and she was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable and happy to help, also really enthusiastic. Love the dim lighting and secluded booth we were given, its not particularly dressy but its still a fun place to go if you want to splurge a littl. Also a brief walk from Clifton Hill so location wise its very accessible -have dinner and see the sights or vice versa! I recommend the New York striploin its fantastic."

"Enjoy eating at smaller locally owned places that serve fresh food. Stop over before trip so know The Keg is always reliable. All good except the desert (chocolate cake) which I thought was dry and not close to fresh. Even though I mentioned to server it remained on my bill. Kinda annoyed me. Otherwise a positive experience I will return...maybe without desert though."

"We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. We dined with our son's family, kids aged 1, 3, and 6 and the all round service was much better than expected. I thought the noise level would have been higher too which was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend this Keg to friends and family! Thanks."

"We've been to the keg before and have never had any issues. We decided to try the marriott location. The food was awful. Definitely not worth $110.00 we paid for it! We will not be returning to this location. We ordered the blue cheese filet - awful, twice baked potato - dry. We were supposed to have unlimited bread- we got 1 loaf and was never offered a second. Ordered the prime rib and tiger shrimp- prime rib was alright- definitely could have been better- was really fatty. The tiger shrimp were cooked on a wooden skewer and had to be cut to get them off. They were literally stuck to the skewer. Our waiter rarely checked in on us. Overall not a good experience at this location."

"As a party of four the overall food (steaks and chicken) were cooked perfectly to the patrons liking, however, the order of ribs were dry,tough, and skimpy. I really should have sent them back. Staff very accommodating,and great personality. Overall a terrific night out"

"I have enjoyed meals at your restaurant on many occasions; however, this last visit was not a good one. We had reservations for 7:00 pm and did not finish our meals until 10:00 am Reason: I ordered the 16 ounce Prime Rib, medium rare and my spouse the Sirloin teriyaki. Both our meals were received stone cold. Sent the meal back, my Prime Rib was received cold again, onions were cold and the meat was medium well. Sent back for a second time, Manager Chris returned and stated they had no more Prime Rib medium rare and offered me a Rib Steak medium rare, I agreed. Received the Rib steak, but it was blue, sent back for a 3rd time. Finally received my steak, hot and done to my request. Mgr. provided discount on meal, but too many errors."

"Gladly we had vouchers and a gift card to cover the majority of our 1st Anniversary dinner. Our brie appetizer was delicious, but the mains were less than awesome. My filet mignon was well done (asked for slightly over medium). It was flat and rather caramelized. If it didn't have an iron sitting on it the whole time it was cooking I would be surprised. My husband's filet mignon was medium when he asked for med-rare. I expected a steak house to have a better idea of their steak colours. There was no bacon in either of our 2xbaked potatoes. We expected more for a 100$+ meal. Our server zipped by us to see if we were happy but she didn't even stop to let us answer. We're certainly not inspired to any other Keg any time soon."

"We were looking forward to dining at the Keg as it has always been a great place for a special dinner. It was my mothers 90th Birthday and her choice was the Keg. Unfortunately not a very good choice for her. She was looking very forward to a great Prime Rib dinner, it had to be returned twice. The first time she could not even cut it as it was so tough. The second time, it was riddled with grisel and again too tough to chew. The manager and the waitress were exceptional in the way they treated the her, returning the food both times to the kitchen with full apologies. She finally settled on a Steak and was very pleased with how it was done. Very sad."

"We were not welcomed when we entered the restaurant, and instead, were ignored by the hostess while she chatted with a colleage.

The waiter we had was very attentive, however at other Keg locations we are asked if we're there for a special occasion...and when we are, the staff normally do something to celebrate.

There were no vegetarian options on the menu (or even off the menu), as other Keg locations offer choices such as: veggie stirfry, pasta, and quesadillas."

"We had a terrible time. Despite our 7pm reservation, we waited 25 minutes to be seated. The host staff were rude and were arguing among themselves. While our hostess was very sweet, her manager barked at her, told her to seat us with some random group and then when we got into the restaurant, there were TONS of open tables in the main room but they seated us in an over-flow room near the service elevators. My steak was good, but my veggies were over-cooked and soggy. Our waiter was friendly and nice, but the whole experience was disappointing. I don't expect the Keg to be interesting or original, but I expect to be treated like a guest. I would never go there again and have told everyone I know to avoid it."

"We were visiting from Windsor Ontario we love the keg in windsor so we made reservations online for the saturday night for dinner. Cody our waiter was very attentive, very quick, knowledgable, could remember everything we ordered by memory only which was impressive, and he was very friendly we enjoyed our dinner and overall dining experience we will be returning next time we are in Niagara Falls

"The food was ok at best. I found it to be nothing special. The food was nothing more special then something i could serve at home. They over cooked my shrimp. There was all sorts of food under the table as we were seated, one of the waiters came by mid meal to sweep it up. Which interrupted our dinner to move so he could sweep up others old food. This was something I expected to be done before being seated. The tables were very close together and we had a couple issues with our neighbours. One neighbour wouldn't stop staring and listening to our conversations and the other table was very loud and intoxicated. I found the staff to be very good. Friendly, energetic, informative, and could be found when needed."

"Staff and restaurant manager very friendly. It was unfortunately there was no med rare cuts of prime rib at that at the time of hour at 6pm dinner. I ordered prime rib med rare and when iit was served to me it was like med well. I sent it back and was surprised there was no med rare.
The restaurant manager professional apologized and came to a quick solution. I ordered a sirloin med rare instead and he cover the cost or my order."
