Locally owned and operated in downtown historic Hershey. We take pride in serving a variety of freshly prepared dishes including salads, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, seafood, risotto, pasta and more. Our cuisine consists of the finest ingredients paired with professional friendly staff and a clean slightly retro/modern, casual atmosphere, making it a great choice for any occasion. Our meals are prepared to order therefore we can accommodate special dietary needs. Seasonally our outdoor patio offers a great view of Hershey Park and Chocolate Avenue with the faint sounds of roller coaster enjoyment in the background.

"We went here for Mother's Day, which is about the only Sunday the restaurant is open every year. The menu is quite extensive - lots lf choices and the presentation of the main courses on the plates are nicely done -- like you would see in a fine dining restaurant. Everyone liked their dinners, which ranged from crab cakes to salads to a hamburger to the homemade lasagna. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the pricing was reasonable. The service was somewhat slow though - don't know if it was because the restaurant was so busy being Mother's Day. The server was quite friiendly though"

"We have visited the Chocolate Avenue Grill now three times. It hasn't disappointed us! We make it a part of our weekend trips to Hershey!!! The food is very fresh, hot and they have a great variety from steak, seafood and pasta and daily specials. The kids menu is very affordable with a good selection. And the kids just LOVE the Wikki Sticks to keep them busy at the table. We will be visiting the Chocolate Avenue Grill during our next long weekend to Hershey! Hopefully this summer or fall."

"A great meal, both specials of the evening were terrific....espec the Key West Scallops...best I have eaten! The chocolate brownie sundae for two was sinfully delicious for two.
Service was personal and upbeat. Loved looking out the window and seeing the kiss streetlights and the roller coasters in the background, but pretty flowers near the sign. Music was a bit loud,but our request to lower the volumn was promptly addressed. The Chocolate Grill was just a short walk to the theatre for us."

"The almond-crusted flounder with the white chocolate beurre blanc was amazing. The fish melted in my mouth, and the subtle taste of white chocolated was left befind. It is the best fish I have had in a long time. My husband had one of the evening specials--beef tenderloin medallions. The meat was tender, but it couldn't compare to the flavor of my fish.
The chocolate milkshake martini was good as was the s'mores martini. The house salad was good. The dinner salads looked very good and are quite large. The only suggestion we have is to improve the quality of the dinner rolls. They were dry and tasteless.
We were there on a Thursday evening and it was packed. It's a good idea to make reservations."

"This was our first vacation to Hershey. We were looking for a place for dinner for our last night and thought this would be a nice place to go. We made reservations on line and found that it was very simple to do. We got to the restaurant and was greeted by 2 very friendly young ladies. We were seated at a table and asked for a booth since we took my 5 year old Granddaughter. The hostess was very nice and accomadating and placed us at a table. The little packets that they give to children are very nice. We ordered beverages and they came very quickly. We ordered an appetizer and it also was very good. Everything about our meal was great. It was a very nice experience for my Granddaughter as well."

"We made a reservation on a recommendation... when our small group of 6 arrived, we were a little disappointed (even contemplated leaving), because the restaurant has a "diner" feel to it and we were looking for a "nice" dinner setting. "Second time that I have been there. Menu has something for everyone. Everything that our table ordered was outstanding. My only problem was our waitress. She dropped a full galss of ice water down the back of my friend and only offered towels to clean up. We felt that they could of at least comped a drink or dessert for being soaked."

"The food was incredible! All three of us loved the salad with strawberries and nuts. Our entrees: salmon, crusted flounder (possibly the best fish that I have ever had), and chicken marsala were all excellent.
The location was great - just a few minutes walk from the Hershey Theater.
I recommend reservations because it gets busy at dinner time."

My colleagues had the Mama D's Lasagna and the Delmonico steak. Both entrees were more than ample portions.
I had spinach fettucine forestiere: "Sauteed wild mushrooms, shallots, green peas tossed with spinach infused fettuccine in a brandy cream sauce. Garnished with charred Roma tomatoes, shaved Pecorino Romano cheese and drizzled with white truffle oil." Quite good; though I feared the sauce would be heavy, it was light and fragrant."

"We dine at the Chocolate Avenue Grill often. Their salads are excellent breaking out of the same old...I especially like their veal roast which I usually order. "The food was delicious, the only food complaint I had was my fiance's steak was pretty fatty at the edges. Our waitress was very nice and very helpful, checked in on us a good amount without being overbearing. We had a reservation and were seated within 10 minutes."

"We went to Chocolate Avenue Grill for Valentine's Day. I had other choices but I KNEW if I wanted consistent outstanding service and food then there wasn't a question where we would go. All of my expectations were met and I was very happy that despite the crowd due to it being Valentine's Day that the venue kept up their level of service. Our server Marta is always excellent!!"

"Excellent menu with unique specials each week. One of us is a vegetarian and the other two eat anything, We always find great choices for the entire family. Always fresh, made from scratch, creative and delicious take on food. The service is stellar and the management hands on when needed. Their aim is to please and they do it so well."

"I took my wife there for her birthday, we had a great time and the food was amazing. The place didn't seem like anything special on the outside but man was it great on the inside. We called it a hidden treasure. Will definatly be going back there again."

"The Chocolate Avenue Grill was a great dining experience. We had the Steak Florentine which was cooked perfectly to order and was very tasty. The portions were generous and all entrees came with a salad which could be upgraded to a greek or caeser for $1.50 more. I had a house red Sangria which was delicious. The offer was made that we could switch out any sides with others listed on the menu with no trouble. We did think it was a little expensive, but would recommend it,"
