"This place was wonderful! Wine list was excellent, service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was fun and energetic. Decor was very modern and fun. And the food was delicious! We had gnocchi, t-bone, fries, and the empanadas between us. All were great! Best gnocchi I have ever had. Perfectly seasoned empanadas. I absolutely recommend it!"

"We went there for Mother's Day. The food was very good as well as the service. The staff was very friendly and took care of us. We all took a steaks and they were done perfectly. My sister, who's not a big meat lover, loved her steak and could eat it without any sauce (which was a first!).
We tried the Sangria verde (tastes like green apple) wich was very good and refreshing. Perfect for summer!
Though we liked the appetizers and deserts, we were not wowed by them.
I would strongly recommend the restaurant for the main course, the steaks were delicious.
We paid around 80$ per person with taxes and service (alcohol, appetizers, main and desert)."

"The food was good, although not as great as the first two times I had gone. Also, while our waitress was very polite and friendly, it took more than 25 minutes between the time she cleared our plates and brought the bill, and that was only after we tracked her down and ask her for it. That was a bit frustrating, but otherwise good restaurant."

"Le décor le service et l'ambiance sont biens. La nourriture est bonne mais pourrait être meilleure pour le prix. Les portions devraient être plus généreuses. Les tamales n'ont rien d'authentique. Notre souper a couter 200$ (pour deux), et ne le valait pas. Je ne le recommande pas et n'y retournerai pas, il y a beaucoup mieux pour la moitié du prix."

Food: steaks were burned instead of medium, they got to be returned to the cook. Risotto was crunchy, supposed to be argentine twist (don't specified on the menu) the bavette was thin never see that before.
Drinks: good cosmo, good wine selection
Service: good but a little bit on the slow side. And at the end mixted up the bills.
Ambiance: pianiste, I never see him the layout of the resto is not good for that. And the music was way too loud.
Decor: really chic stylish and very classy
Overall: for the price doesn't worth it."

"The decor is great and beautifully designed. I felt liked a was back in Argentina again. I started with a glass of red wine but it was to warm. Thankfully the bottle that followed was at the right temperature, around 18 celcius. Because meat is the specialty I asked for a stirloin, rare. My friend ordered the same but medium rare. He got a medium rare steak but mine was medium. At the first occasion we were asked if everything was good, I mentioned that my steak was over cooked. The one the delivers the plate told me he would pass on the message to the kitchen. Nobody came back to talk about the overcook meat. Maybe because I ate it all but I would have appreciated some kind of message that they care about a well cooked steak."

"We had a very pleasant dinner, contrary to many reviews we read that stated the service was bad.
We found the service to be attentive and helpful. However, when a large group came in, toward the end of our meal, it was harder to get the attention of our server. I think this is due to not having enough staff.

"The restaurant is beautiful. Lots of windows with a beautiful view. The bar is very nice, kind of like a lounge with a dj. The wine list is very nice, with private importations from argentina. The food was good. The meat had a lot of fat though but the cooking was perfect. The main complaint I have is it took over an hour to get our food (and 40 minutes to get a basket of bread!!!). I know it was the light festival but the restaurant wasn't full."

"Although the food and decor was excellent, the service was extremely bad. We waited almost 20 min before someone comes takes our order, even though it was relatively not a busy night. Furthermore, it took just as long for us to get the desert menu. I will however come back again because I did like the atmosphere. I just hope better service is given to us next time around."

"First problem: the music was too loud. Second: the tables were so close one from each other, that the conversation, laughs and cheers coming from neighbors overlapped with our chatting constantly. Therefore, normal conversation was quite impossible. The food was very good, as well as the service, that’s true, but: what’s the point in going to such a place when you have to ask your partner to repeat what he/she is saying every time? Bottom line: we flew away as soon as we finish the main course, heading for a quieter place for desserts and coffee. There are hundreds of places in Montreal where you can find good food and service and, in addition, enjoy your staying. My advice: go somewhere else!"

"Very satisfied with this restaurant. We where a group of 5 for my daughter's birthday. We were not aware that Sunday was opened only for brunch. However the waiter was kind enough to speak to the chef and allowing us to order à la carte with the regular menu. The waiter was really courteous and lingered on the details. "Everything was excellent. The maitre d was an absolute gentleman, very polite and well spoken. He had asked us if we minded switching seats because a family with a child had arrived. But the way he asked was very professional and polite. The food was amazing, the meat is so tender. The ambiance and decor are perfect. The restaurant is absolutely amazing. The only complaint I would have is that out young lady that was serving us was a little bit snobby. She was very happy and up beat until we told her that our table would not be drinking any alcohol. Then she became very cold and a little distant. Until it came time to pay. However that will not deter me from saying go to this restaurant. It's amazing and worth every penny!!!!"

"This is my second time here, and I have had a wonderful time again. The service is really what keeps me coming back, everyone is so welcoming and nice (the hosts, busboys, waiters, everyone!), you truly feel appreciated.

Vue très "Vieux Montréal" cool pendant la tempête de neige, faudra voir par temps clair, j’imagine que le vieux port est mis en valeur . Menu relativement dispendieux pour des lunch d'affaire et il reste du travail à faire sur la confection des cafés tant au niveau rapidité que qualité. Le service bine qu'intense et chaleureux n'a pas été constant, attente pour les cafés et la facture. Par contre la cuisine l'ambiance et le sourire du personnel fait que le détour valait la peine.
J'y retournerai, deux fois plutôt qu'une."

"Very friendly and professional personnel. At first we could not get a place near the fireplace because of larger groups sitting in that area but we were happily surprised when they took us to a table just beside the fireplace, very nice gesture and much appreciated.
The decor is beautiful, a mix of modern touch in an old building all with good taste in a very rustic neighbourhood of Old Montréal
The noise level was very acceptable although the restaurant was not full, so this would be my only concern. For company events there is a separate area with a bar.
Food was excellent and overall price reasonable. $100 for two with drinks and wine. Good service.
Overall I would definitively go back and highly recommend l'Atelier d'Argenti"

"Très satisfait de ma soirée à l'Atelier. On a bien mangé, les plats étaient solides, de qualité, le service attentif, enjoué. L'ambiance est décontractée mais ça reste un restaurant. Carte des vins correcte avec IP, dont un Malbec très abordable et satisfaisant de la maison Septima.
La formule 3 plats à 23$ est un très bon deal, mais je comprends que c'est pour une durée limitée."

"I went for a date night with my wife. The place came recommended. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed that. The food was good, my Rib Eye came as requested. The prices are moderate. So I can recommend the place unless you are looking for a nice romantic dinner. It is way too loud. Why is it that these places have to pump the music? Or I might getting old...."
