"The service was great, the drinks were great. The only thing I wasn't fond of was the value of the Teak balls. They are $16 dollars for five bite sized morsels that are far from worth it. They are quite tasty though."

"We went early on a Monday (6:30) and it was great. It was quiet and the sushi was very good. The only thing I was surprised at was they included the 20% gratuity and there were only 3 of us! I would have tipped the waiter 20% anyway, because he was good, but what if he wasn't. There has to be some way to encourage good service and including gratuity isn't the way to do it. Left a bad taste in my mouth!"

"Go for cocktails or wine--Teak's wine list is quite good, but skip the food unless you're really hungry. Hot and sour soup was mediocre. Lobster and avocado egg rolls were tasteless, seafood paella was just okay, and sticky ribs were definitely sticky but lacking in flavor. Decor is fin, straight out of a fantasy novel--we dubbed it Asian-New Jersey rococo. Our waiter was attentive and helpful but food was slow coming out."

"Although they have half price dining on Monday and Thursday it doesn't mean the service has to suck. Knowing that a 20% gratuity is included with a group may be the cause for absolutely no motivation from our server...It is a good place to go with a group if you know thet it will take a lllloooonnngggg time."

"I've only been to Teak twice, but it's a great place to meet friends, catch up, and have a good meal. Overall the food is good and the service is great for such a busy spot. Monday and Thursday nights are "customer appreciation nights" and just about everything is half price. Great location in Hoboken, great atmosphere."

"The food was delicious and the drinks were too. We had dumplings, sushi, ribs, spring rolls, edamame...Everything was perfect. Our waiter was nice, and funny. Service was great and the food came out hot and fast. They even accommodated my rowdy 4 year old and my 11 month old.
We went for my husbands birthday and he was very pleased. I already recommended the place to a friend for her husbands birthday. We will definitely return!"

"I went here for my 18th birthday on a Sunday and I loved it. The food was great, but I think they should have a wider variety on the menu. The service was a little slow because there were only 2 people working the floor, but other than that it was great/fun!"

"My friends and I were there last Thursday evening - the day of the water main breaks in Hoboken. They did call to confirm my reservation and made no mention of any disruptions in service or quality of the restaurant so we came. Our waiter was very kind, yet very dishevled. It took 30 minutes to receive any kind of libation, no water on the tables of course and yet we were asked to PAY for bottled water, as if giving one complimentary bottle was so out of the question? We also overheard our waiter at the next table say to his patrons that they were out of the "complimentary" edamame but that they could PURCHASE something to "munch on" while waiting for their food. Not a great first impression of Teak. Brightside, food was delicious."

"We had a reservation for 8pm and upon arrival we were told that they were short staffed and it would be about 20 more mins. We accepted the situation and went to sit at the bar. 30 mins later we went to ask about our table only to be told that they didn't realize we were still waiting and proceed to sit 2 couples ahead of us that did not have reservations. It was very unprofessional and disappointing for the amount of money that you pay for food."
