"Unless you are going for burgers and fries and beer, no I would not recommend Goose Island Brewery. Service was spotty. Took a long time to be served, had to ask for salt & pepper, bread, dessert menu, coffee, bread. Seemed a long time before we were served. They were setting up for a huge party in another room, which may excuse some of this, but not all."

"My husband and I went to Goose Island for his birthday. We are burger and beer type people, but wanted a step up. This was perfect. We each had a flight of beer which was wonderful. The steak sandwich was the best I've ever had, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be going back."

"Unique selection of brews some available widely but its the unique weekly brews that makes this place special. Great food that goes well with the beers. Comfortable and inviting place."

"Ate before a show @ Apollo Theater on an early Sun. Afternoon. Liked the many beer choices since you can try small samples of many of them. I liked my burger and chips. Wife liked her fresh salad. Very nice service Can sit @ bar or eat in atrium. Food prices OK for Chicago."

"What an inspirational table beside the brewing barrels to launch a collaborative engagement with one of my dear Facebook friends. Was that a flirtatious gesture?"

"This was our first time to Goose Island and we really enjoyed ourselves. We both had a couple beers that we have never heard of before, and the food was awesome. I had a cheeseburger with a fried egg on it, and it was cooked perfectly. My girlfriend had the fish and chips which was delicious as well. We will definitely be back!"

"We went for the beer, which was great. The food was well above average, the menu varied, and all was nicely presented. The whole experience was really terrific."

"I have been to Goose Island before and really enjoyed it. This time our server wasn't quite on top of things and we were pretty disappointed that we couldn't watch the Hawks game. Hoping next time is better. Thanks again for the great food and brews!"

"This was my first time to Goose Island. Prior to going my husband and I reviewed their menu online. Once we arrived, they did not have half of the items that were listed online. The restaurant was noisier than I would have liked, however the service and food was very good. We would definitely give Goos Island another try."

"The Beer is what makes a trip here worth it, a great selection and several brews on tap that you can only get at the brewpub. The food was ok, go for the Stilton Burger!!"
