"We were here for our anniversary dinner. We were given a nice corner table with views on both sides. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable however because it was the launch of their new menu there were a few items that were unavailable. I created a 3 course tasting from the appy choices and my husband had steak. Overall the food was good and there were some creative items using unique foods like rabbit and bison. My scallops were a little undercooked and my husbands steak was over salted. Value for money I would say you are paying more for the view and ambiance than the food. We were expecting a bit more from the food but had an amazing time anyway. They even bought us dessert to help us celebrate!"

"The restaurant was nearly empty and eventhough we were only a party of 2, my request for a window was ignored. There were many vacant seats so not sure why it was a problem. The food was mediocre at best."

"We were a group of 10 ladies for Sunday Brunch. The food was just OK, but we felt that for the price, it should have been better than just OK. The Hollandaise sauce was very salty and the English Muffins really were not toasted -- maybe just warmed a little. The Dungeness Crabmeat was a skimpy portion. The breakfast potatoes were just deep fried slices of potato. The plate garnish of fresh fruit was very small. Absolutely nothing memorable to draw one back for a second try.

The restaurant could use some refurbishing - a facelift!

The service was attentive, quick, accurate, and pleasant."

"The view is spectacular and the service was very good and friendly. Unfortunately the food was a bit of a disappointment. We ordered Crab Stuffed Sooke Trout, Beef Tenderloin and Pink Salmon. All sounded appetizing but were quite bland. Not very flavourful and the plating presentation was not very appealing. I would return for a drink and an appetizer to take in the view and the ambiance but will not return for dinner."

"As always fabulous service!!Went for Easter brunch and it was outstanding, there was roast lamb offered at the buffet which was a great surprise as we love lamb!!!!

"We have been visiting this restaurant for many years. This latest visit was slightly disappointing. We've been vegetarians for more than a decade and have enjoyed the choices here. This time, for brunch, there was very little on offer for us even though we had mentioned our diet when we reserved. Too many egg and cheese dishes. We're pretty strict vegetarians and cheese and eggs are not vegetables. The view is still spectacular and we did enjoy the ambiance but we will certainly check the menu for vegetarian choices before we return."

"We have always look forward to the Dine Around experience. Overall it was an enjoyable evening and we plan to visit you again.
The meal was well presented, the wines well paired. The seafood vol-au-vent lacked flavor - perhaps a dash of wine, sherry or summer savory would have perked it up. An option of sauces for the sable fish would have been nice - or no sauce at all! The panna cotta was a little too firm.
Our waitress, although very helpful & perky, was very loud. As more of the customers arrived her volume seemed to decrease, for which we were thankful.

"Your going here for the view. We tried the wine pairing menu. The food tasted great and had a great presentation but after we left I had to go get something to eat for dinner. Small portions even the wine pours were tiny. I was a bit disappointed for the price we paid that I still had to go get dinner afterward. Views were nice. We did not have a window seat but you could still see plenty of the view."

"Nice view, nice bar and seating arrangement. Wine list was out of date. Ordered a bottle but were brought a bottle that was not on the menu and still had to pay the full price of the one we wanted. Wait staff were friendly. This place begs for a better menu and attention to detail."
