"Great meals for our group of four. Not your run of the mill Italian restaurant. Fresh pastas made with a Venetian accent. Nightly specials that rock. The owner is on the premises and his wife is the sommelier. Awesome find in the south bay."

"We went for Mother's Day brunch. The food was excellent; however, the service fell off as the restaurant got busier.
It took probably 30 minutes between our appetizers and the main dish, and another 15-20 between the main dish and the dessert. Then it took me and my brother waving and saying "excuse me" multiple times to finally get someone to bring up the check. It definitely annoyed me when our waitress clearly saw us a couple times, but decided to look away - NOT the way to treat customers who went there to celebrate a special occasion!"

"What a delight to find a restaurant of this caliber on the way home from work.
It took us quite by surprise, and we couldn't be more pleased.
Portion size was perfect, flavors were fabulous, staff was sensational, and price was well within reason.
We loved everything we tried.

"Very disappointing. It took a very long time to receive our food. Ordered the veal ragout, dry and tough - seemed like it was reheated from the previous day. Pasta was mushy, not anywhere near al dente. The menu itself was one page of food and 20 pages of high-priced California and Italian wines. This is our second try here. We ordered sea bass the time before and that was overcooked badly as well. At these prices, it is not worth it to try again. Too bad,as the South Bay needs a good Italian restaurant."

"This place has been our favourite Italian restaurant since we first visited it. Excellent food, very good selection of wines, great service and very nice atmosphere. There are always new choices on the menu so there is always something new to try and enjoy! Perfect way to spend an evening with your loved one and enjoy excellent food with a glass of good italian wine! Highly recommend this place!"

"Great place. Menu very exotic and includes Italian delicacies like monkfish and clams over perfectly cooked and seasoned pasta, grilled frog legs with creamy polenta and the most delicious steak tartar I have ever had. Prices are fair for the great quality and uncommon selections, and the wine list is extensive and fun! Highly recommend - this neighborhood restaurant needs our support and deserves it for the great food!"

"went with girlfriends. Too noisy. My friend had the bigoli with something but said it tasted of burnt garlic.
The other three of us had gnocchi with duck. the gnocchi were grey and just not good. also too expensive. I don't mind paying a bit more if it's good but not when it is not worth it. Wine was good. Desserts were good. won't be going back...."

"I've driven past this restaurant so many times I figured it was time to try it. The food was great and the wine list was massive. Our server was very helpful also.

"I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is incredible! Everything tastes so fresh and flavorful. I believe the pastas are handmade every morning. They dishes are primarily from Venice so most dishes are meat and seafood based but they will prepare vegetarian dishes upon request. The wine list is quite extensive. The service is outstanding. This is a gem of a restaurant for the Southbay!"

"Have been here several times, they make a special order lightly fried chicken salad for lunch which is delicious. But, the salad is quite expensive for this type of salad, staff is friendly and attentive. Because the outdoor eating area is so close to PCH, the need to put some sort of glass wake around the perimeter of the outside area to help with traffic noise."

"Menu had lots of things like venizen, organ meats, etc. Liver was a special. We should have checked the menu before going. I found a pasta with shrimp/scallops. My partner had some kind of ravioli. Primi size had 3 small shrimp (w/heads) and 3 tiny scallops. Very bland. Awful service. My partner's diet coke hadnt come after 15 minutes and our server made some kind of excuse about it not being ready, it was being mixed, whatever. Ten minutes later we asked the maitre'd. He brought us a bottle-tacky. No apology. Then halfway through our meal they started moving tables around us for a larger party. They did not acknowledge us, apparently we were invisible. We really cannot say anything nice and of course will never return."

"My boyfriend and I went here for new years eve dinner and had an amazing experience! Our server was very knowledgable of everything on the menu and helped us order a great mix of a little bit of everything the menu had to offer. Everything we ordered was delicious and we'll definitely go back. Living in Italy for a year i can say with confidence that this is the most authentic Italian (Venetian) food you'll get in the South Bay!"
