"If you're looking for a '50s-style family restaurant, you can't go wrong with Louis' Basque Corner. If you're looking for a restaurant that, per its name, has Basque cuisine -- or anything Basque other than a few waitresses' silly costumes -- you'll be thoroughly disappointed by Louis Basque Corner. We thought there would be Basque food, so were thoroughly disappointed."

"This was our second visit to Louis's and it was another great experience. We met friends from Australia and locally for an evening of fun and good food. The entrees were pretty typical - steak, lamb chops, roast lamb... with specials of rabbitt abd shrimp. We tried all but the steak (which looked very good) and everyone was very pleased. The food is well prepared and plentiful, especially given the side servings of soup, salad, a special chicken dish, beans and french fries! The setting is family style seating and service at a table for eight. The servers are friendly and accommodating. We will return every chance we get!"

"The Basque Chorizo soup and the oxtails were excellent we all thought they were fantastic. I was disappointed in the Top Sirloin, I ordered it cooked medium rare and it was closer to medium well so I was unable to eat my entrée, luckily someone at our table ordered the NY cooked medium rare and she had enough to share with me. The salad and french fries were just ok."

"The restaurant was packed like a social club with locals shouting at ther loudest. Impossible to have a conversation. No inidividual tables, we, 4, were sat with another 4 on the same table. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL !"

"service was horrible, we never saw our waiter after the main course was brought out, so he didn't even bring us our check or give us our dessert. Overall I probably wouldn't go back because of the service was that bad."
