Our menus consist of the Chef’s original creations inspired by authentic Italian and French preparation using the freshest seasonal ingredients available. Our kitchen boasts a wood burning grill used to prepare several of our items and specials. We also have a wood burning pizza oven and make our own fresh pastas daily. After dinner enjoy one of our house made desserts accompanied by an espresso, a cappuccino, a fine port, traditional grappa or a dessert wine or cocktail. Don't miss our reclaimed wood and carrera marble bar that features an innovative selection of skillfully crafted cocktails made with fresh pressed juices, purees, foams and other fresh ingredients.

"Our second trip within 3 weeks. We had the same server, she was personable and terrific when we had her attention. Consistent with the first visit; service levels were understaffed. Food preparation was very good and portions the right size. Menus is diverse allowing all dinner companions to have plenty of choices including lighter or heaver, larger or smaller plates. Food taste is above average. Restaurant location is excellent for the Biltmore/Arcadia/East Camelback neighborhoods."

"This was our fifth trip to Central Bistro. We dined early, about 5pm. The large glass window walls were open so dining inside had all the flavor of the outside dining area without the afternoon heat. The noise level was much better than the 7-9pm times and more like the 11-1AM time. (you can get an unhurried gourmet meal late since they serve the entire menu through to 1 AM ordering). As always the service and food were impeccable. I had a medium rare Red snapper...awesome!...and my wife had The peered shrimp which includes true prawns (a shrimp weighing in at least half a pound. The duck sausage and duck carpaccio are stellar as is the onion soup. You won't be disappointed!"

"Probably will not return to this restaurant ever again. The restaurant is beautifully done but the food and service is terrible. What ever you do done get the half chicken it was a 5 pound half chicken with a golf ball size smash potatoes and a couple greens with no sauce. It was horrifing to look at and was dry with no taste. Not impressed. Spent over 250 at the restaurant and walked away annoyed and dissatisfied."

"Food was all good...Salmon was cooked perfectly (which isn't always the case at other places)...Manager(?) was attentive, coming over to see if everything was good throughout the meal...Server seemed 'unsure', and disengaged, but did her job well...Would recommend..."

"First time I went to Central Bistro the food, service and ambience was great.Second time around the food was really average and the service was so so. The pizza with procuito and gorgonzola was overladen with cheese with an abundance of stiff meat on top. My sons mashed potato was so salty it was inedible, the half chicken was dry."

"A NIGHT OUT!
On line reservation a plus. Friendly hostess and prompt seating, waiter was knowlegable and helpful. The open air would be great but the outside temp and wind needs to be considered. Value was there and helping make it enjoyable dinning experience."

"Saturday night we joined another couple for dinner at the restaurant for the first time. The atmosphere appeared "energetic" and lively as we entered. After being seated, we quickly realized how noisy it was. We found the menu a bit limited (very few lite bites). The drinks, (martinis) were good and we had a great server. I personally do not enjoy struggling to have a conversation across the table, no matter how good the food is. If we did return a second time, it would have to be on the patio."

"This was a second visit. Our dinner was to arrive shortly and we were then told they didn't have an entree we ordered. So, an additional dinner had to be ordered and waited longer. We had issues with the kitchen the first experience also with a slow kitchen that was overwhelmed with the restaurant being very busy. There seems to be very poor communication in the kitchen. Our meal ended up being comped. Will not be returning. Their other restaurant local bistro is a gem in north Scottsdale!"

"I'd say it was very average. We sat at our table for 30 minutes before a waiter showed up. We were just about to leave when they finally graced us with some wait staff. Even then our waiter was unapologetic, and a little condescending when we mentioned how long we had been waiting. They also seem very disorganized. We made a reservation through Open Table, and were there on time for our reservation, and yet they report back to Open Table that we were "No Shows"
Food was average, nothing that would draw you back to the restaurant. Would I go back? Everybody deserves a second chance, I guess, but there are so many other choices for restaurants, Central Bistro would be low on the list."

"This was our first visit, as it has been open only about four months. We actually arrived 30 minutes early and were directed to the crowded bar area, fortunately finding two seats so we could belly up. At 7:30 the place was hopping, but the hostess came for us precisely at our reservation time. Pasta Arrabiata was a tad under-spiced (request Linguini or Spaghetti as a pasta alternative), but my friend's pork tenderloin was superb. Wait staff was efficient and friendly. They must be thrilled to be new and full on a Saturday night, but there was a lot of noise carryover to the dining area that was unavoidable, but slightly offputting. Not our choice for a romantic or first date, but certainly a vibrant feel from Millennials to Boomers."

"We were looking for a new neighborhood find but were very disapointed. The noise nearly pushes you back out the front door. Unable to have a dinner conversation. Server couldn't hear our order no matter how loud we yelled so we never got what we asked for and what we did get wasn't cooked properly. She never came back to check anyway. Never again."

"I had been there for lunch and really enjoyed the duck confit sandwich, although it is kind of a mess to eat, but very rich and tasty... I had high expectations for dinner and while it wasn't bad, it didn't light up my world... Valentine's day is rookie night out I know, but the service was a little stressed... I would certainly go back, but with slightly tempered hopes..."
