"Four of us dined on Friday eve around 7:30 and left around 10:30.
The bar became busy which means this place is a hot spot later in the evening.
The Branzino very good. I would recommend this as well as the frito misto appetizer.
The wine list was good with a decent price point selection. We would dine there again."

"We came to Church Aperitivo hoping to find a bit more of a bar scene and instead found a lovely modern but quiet restaurant. The pasta and gnocci were absolutely delicious and because it was between 5-7 we enjoyed a platter of free appetizers. Much appreciated, thank you."

"I am a big fan of this restaurant. They've taken advantage of the existing architectural features of the old church that was once here and it creates a strangely fun and formal environment. The food was shared among our table of 4 so we ordered a variety of items, most of which were outstanding."

"only bad thing was my Ribeye which I ordered medium rare arrived medium well and the waitress never came to check up on us after so it required me getting up and having the hostess go find her. To her credit she was also hadling with a party of 20 in back of us and another table of 6. Overall the food is great and the service good. Would definitely go back."

"Our reservation was at 6:30pm on Saturday evening and we arrived to a private dining room that was empty and made for a romantic dinner. From 5:30-6:30 they offer free apreatifs with purchase of alcohol and even though we arrived afte 6:30 they still honoured it. The food was amazing and the entire evening was magical. The fogliollie dessert was excellent and highly recommend as it was made in house"

"Food was outstanding. Service was very friendly, attentive and polite. The only thing I wasn't too keen on were the large TV's that were on in the background. I know it is called an Aperitivo Bar, but I found the TV's a little distracting. I love hockey and found it difficult to fully concentrate on my lovely wife. I will pick a table a little more removed next time. Yes there will definitely be a next time."

"The server we had did not seem to be very aware. It was almost like she did not know how "service" worked. The steak I got was very bland, and tough. The appetizers were the only thing that was decent. I don't think I will be going there again unfortunately. Perhaps for some drinks, but there are other spots in the neighborhood for that too."

"We had such a great time at this gem of a place. The food was outstanding! We had everything from braised octopus (the best i have ever had) gnocco fritto (delish) polenta fries (mmm) then we chose a main each. I had the penne with nduja and I must say it was probably one of the best pastas I have had in a long time. The portions were just right. The place transitioned into a lounge atmosphere after 10pm where the crowd was good looking, mature! Great experience and great decor."

"It was a little smaller than expected especially because I thought there would be dancing. People were dancing but it was in between tables which was a little awkward. The service was great and the food was great! I would suggest going for dinner (order all the appetizers to share) and then go somewhere after to party."
