"Sometimes ladies like to get pretty, put on a little black dress, go out, have a scrumptious dinner & a cocktail or 3. This is the perfect place for just that! The atmosphere was fabulous. The people were kind, courteous & funny. The food was phenomenal. The cocktails were divine. Highly recommended & I'll most definitely return next time I'm in town."

"We had heard how good the food was. Yes, it was very good and presented very nicely. A little on the expensive side but not too bad. We had the appitizers of deviled eggs with shrimp and the oysters. Very different! Salads are not included but the beet salad was so tasty also. The Porterhouse steaks were very good and also huge! Next time we are doing the burgers, they looked awesome! Service maybe could have been a little better but besides that it was a great dining experience!"

"its in a random spot but dont let that fool you, once inside (or out front which is real nice too) you'll enjoy a great ambience. Our first thought was it felt a bit like you are in a nice restaurant in Las Vegas. It "Feels" special, expensive, and yet is comfortable.
Really good food and cooked properly. Some of the specials are a bit small portioned but theyll tell you that. They have many regular items that will fill the biggest appetite.
I have eaten there twice with my wife and once we brought our kids. They had nice music each time. Attention to detail is apparent here, youll love this place. Our service was impeccable, Carlos was our waiter."

"I live about a mile away and watched curiously as the restaurant was being built. I finally got the family together for Mother's Day after an advertisement on OpenTable. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful, the atmosphere was a blend of romantic, stylish, and energetic. It is a weird, but very cool atmosphere to blend those things together. The server was incredibly fun, teasing our table and engaging our party. The food was fantastic, with the ribs and brisket among our favorites. I will definitely be back and know that my family will be as well."

"We have been to the DC Grill before and enjoyed it, but it must be said that the quality of the food is uneven. Great hamburgers but a simple green salad was limp and overdressed. Some of the meat in the Beef. Stroganoff was tough and essentially unchewable in an okay but not great sauce. Menu prices and atmosphere reflect what is promised to be a quality dining experience; unfortunately what comes out of the kitchen does not always live up to that promise."

"The ambience and food are excellent and the service is slow but very good. Since they only serve dinner, it's nice to have leisure time there. However, the noise is almost unbearable!!! I have been there twice, and each time it is extremely noisy. This time we sat on the other side of the bar in a corner booth. It doesn't quiet down until after 9:00."

"This was our first time to Dry Creek Grill - given an anniversary gift certificate by our kids. except that about a third of the dishes were mouth-dryingly salty! We mentioned this to our waiter, and he was very apologetic, the manager came over and offered us free drinks (we declined, we weren't looking for compensation, just to let them know)."

"We arrived about 15 mins early (expected to wait/sit at the bar until our reservation time) and checked in with the hostess. She refused to check us in and told us to come back at our reservation time and check in then. Her communication style was curt and abrupt. Put us off from the beginning. Bar staff was nice, but a bit disorganized. Once seated, our server was great. My wife's filet was very good. My Prime Rib Stroganoff was bland and consisted fo 60% mushrooms, 20% meat and 20% noodles in a sauce. Should have picked a burger or something else. Overall, food was pricey for what you got and did not match what the final bill was in terms of value.
Will probably not go back."

"We've dined here often and always find something wonderful to try, whether it's the main course, dessert or creative drinks, never disappointed. The staff is spirited and spends time with each table to walk you thru what's unique or just plain yummy that evening. It's perfect for dinner with friends, by yourself in the bar or girl friends night out. Love the atmosphere and rate it 5 stars!"

"We enjoyed every aspect of our dinner. The food was wonderful. We had the mixed barbecue plate and the ground chicken burger. The barbecue sauce was the best we have ever had. The burger was large and delicious. I had not had a ground chicken burger before and loved this. The waitress recommended a lemon chiffon cake with raspberry sauce, which was divine. The service was as good as the food: friendly, prompt, efficient, and eager to please. We look forward to our next visit...which will be very soon."

"No question that the ambience is good and the food can be very good or over or under cooked/seasoned. I have eaten here many times and while the concept and the menu planning is good, the execution seems to often be a problem - consistent spicing and cooking is a problem - but good service prevails and so does the ambience but increasingly I am choosing other places .... so they need to get this right."

"The food was great and so was the service. The only issue I had was the noise level. If was difficult to carry on a conversation. Later they had live jazz music and when that started you really couldn't talk to the person across the table from you. I would go again but request to sit towards the front of the restaurant or off in their side room."

"I have been here many times, ghey seem to have ample tables surrounding the central bar. Unfortunately , they don't seem to be able to handle parties greater than 4. We had a party of ), and they crammed us into a booth that only can comfortably seat 4. If was very uncomfortable for adults!"

"The food was delicious (everyone agreed!) and there was a surprisingly large variety of different dishes available. Service was excellent (Ellen rocked!) and the atmosphere was unpretentious (a little on the upscale side) and lively. We will be returning to confirm that the rest of the menu was as as good as the things we've already tried (Crab Louis, Rotisserie Chicken Pasta, St Louis Style Pork Ribs).
I'll be recommending the Dry Creek Grill to all my friends and if you're in the area, recommend you check it out too!"

"I was extremely impressed with this restaurant. It is located in a neighborhood strip mall, but as you approach the front, you forget that detail. The BBQ is wonderful and the cocktails are creative and yummy. We left before the live music started but I will definitely be returning to try more from the menu and to sit outside at the fire pits."

"I would not expect to find this caliber restaurant in the middle of a strip mall next to a Bally Fitness gym! The food is fantastic, the servers fairly attentive (ours had a large group come in and barely came back to check on us).
I do wish that you could choose which sides came with the entrees. I asked to sub one for another (both entrees with these sides were priced within 30 cents of each other) and was charged $2-3. I feel that it was an easy enough swap with no added cost to them, so I'm not sure why I was charged more.
Overall, though, this is a great place and my husband and I will be coming back."

"Went there for our anniversary. The food, wine and service were very good. Some things we especially enjoyed were the carpaccio appetizer, the bone in ribeye dinner (huge portion!) and the chocolate cookie for dessert. Looks like a fun place to go to for drinks at the bar- will have to check that out next time."

Enjoyed the food (3 steaks, salmon and scallops), cocktails were very good (Manhattan, Old Fashioned and Moscow Mule...and Blood Orange Cosmo). "I've been to the Dry Creek Grill twice now for dinner. Once with my husband and once with a girlfriend. The food is divine. Seriously delicious. The cornbread is addicting and I had the bacon / meatloaf dish. Dennis and I split a beet salad (they brought them out on two separate plates). Fabulous wine, too. I can't say enough about this new restaurant, except that I will be dining there often! I haven't had the opportunity to sit in the bar area yet, but I'm certain I will. This is a real "gem" and I can't wait for the upstairs to open up!! I know everyone is ga-ga over the Santana Row restaurants, but I've never had a meal that I thought was over the top delicious as was my meal(s) at Dry Creek Grill. Go see for yourself!"

We had the fried scallops appetizer: the scallops were fishy and the panco cover was hard.
The bluecheese salad was under- dressed. For The smoked mushrooms pasta they added liquid smoke
And it was horrid. We had the Crab Louie and it was fishy and mediocre.
The only good thing was the French Oninon soup.
The dessert menu had 5 items, and even though we were still hungry (didn't finish any dishes), everything seemed
pedestrian.
Overall expensive for what you get, with low quality ingredients.
Unless Yiu are ready to fork out $50/69 for a steak, Dry Creek offers little value"
