"My kids and I spent a special Mother's Day weekend in Houston and "googled BEST restaurants in Houston" and 024 Grille came up. We all got steaks and all agreed "best steaks ever had!". I got the filet, my son got the sirloin and my daughter got a different cut (dont' recall)...but it was so good! Service was great - the only strange thing was that it was not crowded?!?!?"

"It is really sad that such a beautiful restaurant with wonderful staff has such unimpressive food! The ambiance will blow you away, the staff from the hostesses, servers, and even the manager were warm and friendly, but the food was less impressive than a complimentary breakfast at a road side motel! Not enough flavor, not enough selection... No fruit, limited veggies, two protein choices on the lunch section of the buffet, really? No carving station, food luke warm at best, on Mother's Day!?!? It's just not what you expect next to a Westin. With good restaurants down the street like Eddie V's and Taste of Texas down the street, and great restaurants building next door like Churrascos, this place will soon be extinct..."

"Nice restaurant. Not very crowded, on Mother's Day. We'd sought a later reservation (ours was at 5:15 p.m.) but were told via "Open Table" that none was available. Hard to believe, given the empty tables we saw, when we left at 7:00 p.m! But overall, a nice meal, a little expensive for what it was, but loved not battling the crowds on Mom's Day. We had three kids with us, ages 10-15, and they enjoyed it, too."

"horrible, i make the reservation amd i request a dessert plate in my reservation, something the say congratulacion, we was having a special ocaacion , when i get there, they dont have my reservacion, increible, after i ask for a desert menu , the server tell me the kitchen is close , how can i know what time the close the kitchen ????/ when the server tell me the kitchen is close , the time was 10:15 , and no body tell me , they close the kitchen at 10 . so we cant have dessert i was super mad but i dont say nothing ,i pay the bill and i left , never one of the manager come to my table and ask me if everything was fine , never , i thing this place dont have a manager, also i ask for two glass of wine,they dont have !! horrible"

"Horrible! Served gasoline type wine with no choice to change. Food was horrible, cheese puff was horrible and food had no taste. Went from being an amazing Italian restaurant to the worst eating experience in town."

"The staff was very polite and professional. I would also like to note that they were not annoying. Example is when at a Chinese restaurant or someplace where the server never lets the liquid in the glass go below an inch or always asking how things are. This cuts into conversations at the table and ruins a nice night out with your significant other.

024 Grille Restaurant and Bar is quite elegant and contemporary. They have a great wine list and also are hip to the younger crowd. The valet service is complimentary for your dining."

"Food was execellent - we remarked it was among the best restaurant meals we had experienced in quite some time.

On the negative side -- seating in the main area was awkward. It would have felt like dining in a hallway. We asked to be re-seated in a side room, and they graciously accommodated us - and it was much better."

"The food was mostly okay, although the occasional dish was something special. The resteraunt is on the loud side. The beet salad is something special, but the steak not so it is hard to predict what to pick. For a hotel restaurant it is good, but I wouldn't make a special trip to go there."
