The menu is comprised of Italian dishes like homemade pastas, fish and steak dishes. "My husband took me here for dinner on my birthday, and it was all great! The food and wine were perfect. We had the cheese platter for an appetizer, and then I had the ravioli, and he had the veal dish. No complaints at all. We both finished our plates. I got a free dessert, too, so I picked the caramel pudding because I had heard good things about it. It was delicious. I was so full that my husband ate 3/4 of it. The service was prompt and extremely friendly. I had a great time, and would definitely come here again.
Just a note, we had reservations, so we were seated right away, but it was a Wednesday night, and it looked like it was getting pretty busy. Definitely reserve, if you want to make sure you have a seat!"

"I am from Ohio and took my Brea girlfriend to Bruno's to celebrate our 3-month dating anniversary. I stopped by early to ask that they place a flower I had bought at our table for when we arrived for our reservation. We showed up and our hostess readily recognized me and had prepped exactly as I requested. Our server was very personable and each of her recommendations from the menu were superb. We couldn't have asked for a better overall experience."

"thanks to opentable, yelp, and my friends' suggestions so i found this wonderful restaurant.
we go there to celebrate BIRTHDAY and it offers 3 course dinner (plus a drink--alcohol or non-alcohol) for $30 (each person)! it's a good adventure because we can try total of 6 different dishes and 2 different drinks!!
the food were good but not to be point of FANTASTIC ;p
but the server and the owner are VERY considerate and attentive so we had a good time!! >_<
oh, Brunos will give the birthday person a FREE DESSERT of their choice! ^^ hahaha...yum yum yum!! @_@
lastly, the wine list is pretty cool but....can not drink and drive so....hum....need to WAIT for LARGE group to be there so i can finally TASTE variety of wines! ;p"

"Dinner was great like always. Tonight was 2 appetizers and a shared entree. We had the mussels again (like always) but we spiced it up by ordering the beef carpaccio which was a great combination beef, arugula, capers and shaved parmesan cheese. For our entree the Branzino. It was fantastic and will be a new favorite. Thanks again!"

"What a surprise! We found Bruno's through open table and the reviews were positive. We were greated by the manager within a moment of being sat to simply welcome us. He asked if we've dined prior. When we said no, he took a moment to make us familiar with the menu and made a few recommendations.
Everything was amazing - simple yet packed menu. Awesome presentation and wonderful flavors.

"Went here recently on a date and had a great time. Our server was top-notch and extremely knowledgeable with regard to the menu. The food was delicious but took a little longer to arrive at the table than I would have expected... Luckily we ordered an appetizer so at least we weren't starving. The atmosphere was a a bit on the loud side considering the romantic feel of the place (making it a bit hard to have a good conversation with my date). All in all, not a bad place for good food at a decent price."

"We had a reservations on Saturday night and needed to move it 30 minutes; called and they were very accommodating. Service and food met our expectations in all respects. The mussels, as an appetizer were excellent. My wife had the short rib pasta and enjoyed it thoroughly. I have the fish soup/stew, which was wonderfully seasoned. Great atmosphere, a cool and hip restaurant. We live in Tustin, but will return when we are in the area again."

"Have been here twice and was very satisfied both times. The risotto ball appetizer was a perfect start. Loved the lasagna the first time and came back for the flat iron steak w/ polenta. So good both visits. Even thought the meal was so delicious and filling, I had to get the desserts both times. My group of 4 got desserts to share. We tried the tiramisu, almond cake w/ peaches and ice cream, and had 2 of the Carmel/choc ganache & whip. All the dessert were very enjoyable howerver the pudding was amazing! It's flavors are perfect and not too rich. Both visit I have received wonderful service. Servers were very kind and knowledgeable. Will definitely be visiting again."

"The location where Bruno's sits has been a revolving door for restaurants, but for the first time I am hoping that this one is able to stick around. Prices are reasonable, especially given the quality of the food. I like the ambiance of the restaurant because outdoor patio opens up into Downtown Brea; a large sliding wall/window to the patio opens up the inside of the restaurant making it seem more spacious and open. Smaller bar area, so may not be best bar to hang out at all night, but a good place to stop in and have a drink."

"We have been to Bruno's several times now and have NEVER been disappointed. This place holds up great traditions in food and service. I love how accommodating everyone is. The TV went out at one point, but was back up super fast once we mentioned that it went out. We love the bread and olive oil/balsamic vinegar mix for dip. All of the dishes are amazing. This time around we came for OC Restaurant Week. Awesome deal for food worth its ticket price. We will definitely be returning and will continue to recommend this to all who share the love of authentic Italian Food."

"Given the amazing reviews it gets on the web, I was expecting much more from this place. Love the trendy yet laid back vibe, but underwhelmed by the pasta (on the bland side when not covered in sauce, rolled out a bit too thick for my taste, accompanied by what tasted like a cheap cut of meat because it was tough and chewy despite being braised). The service was slow, but our waiter was friendly when he stopped by. While the blurb on the menu / website about the wine selection makes it sound like they're making great wines easily accessible, they're mostly cheap ($10/bottle) but decent for the price. Probably not somewhere I'd go back to / worth driving out for, but reasonably priced and okay if you are in the area and don't want to cook."

"My girlfriend and I went there for OCRW and we had a great time. Our waitress Michaele was a delight, and it seemed like the staff there genuinely cared about their customers. Food was great and there are no complaints to be had."

"We liked the variety of food offered on the menu and was not overly priced. Enjoyed our entire dinner. The flavors and presentation were very good. Good selection of wine. Could not beat the $7 per glass, $28/bottle prices. The desserts were exceptional, especially the Tiramisu. This was our first visit to Brunos and we enjoyed the Valentine Day's menu. Looking forward to our next visit."

"Bruno's has become our new favorite place! The servers make you feel as though you are a regular and the food is amazing. Not your typical Italian fare, however they do have several items to satisfy your Italian cravings. Otherwise I'd recommend the braised short rib papperdelle, veal saltimbocca or pork chop. We love how they have priced their wines (every glass is only $7) which gives you the opportunity to try something perhaps you never would. And then the desserts - oh don't get me started. Every dessert on the menu is $5 and lucious.
On this last visit we celebrated my husband's birthday and they went all the way to make him feel special with a complimentary appetizer, lemoncello and dessert! Way to go Bruno's, we'll be back."
