"This place was recommended to us by a friend. The food was fresh and high quality. Wednesday nights they give a complimentary appetizer with the purchase of 2 adult entrees. We had the crab and brie fondue, which was amazing and couldn't taste any fresher. We split the Black and Bleu Beef Tips and the Crabcakes. The crab cakes had a spicy kick to them and while the sauce seemed heavy, they tasted light. The serving sizes were huge. The mixed potatoes were the best I've ever had. I would go back and order the exact same entrees again in a heartbeat. For dessert, we had popcorn ice cream. Real popcorn in vanilla ice cream drizzled with salted caramel sauce. They make it in-house and it's the only way I want to waste calories on ice cream now."

"Excellent food. Nothing like it in the area. Not an overwhelming menu but a ver good variety and all very good. (Working our way through it). It's a shame it's so small. Very, very crowded all the time and quite noisy. Don't need the (loud) background music. Excelent servers."

"My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find such good food in Eldersburg! We had driven by the restaurant several times before, however the exterior did not make us want to stop in. The restaurant is located in a strip shopping center and the entrance is very unassuming.
Thank goodness they advertise! Everything was wonderful & it was exciting to learn that we no longer have to drive into the city to have a nice dinner."

"This was my first visit to the County Cork and we will definately go back! Although it's really quite noisy and waitstaff was great and the food absolutely wonderful! My husband ordered a risotto with scallops and a blood orange sauce and he was raving about how good the sauce was. I ordered a salad and requested no beets..the kitchen mistakedly put beets on and when the waiter served us he immediately noticed and returned it to the kitchen. I hardly had to wait at all to receive a new salad and it was delicious! I highly recommend the County Cork!"

"this is a best kept secret.. we drive 20 minutes to go to this place.. wine list is perfect not too expensive but great choices.. try the Predator Zin.. its great and ask for an aerator for the wine, they have individual ones you can put in your bottle at the table. Sous Chef Connor is wonderful. he puts out some good lookin food.. the grilled cesear is perfect, the dresing is flavorful, the polenta croutons an added umpf! the selection of charcuterie and Cherry Glen cheeses is great.. ribeye perfectly cooked.
service attentive. love this place!!"

"We went to the County Cork for Easter brunch. I had the Irish Trucker (eggs over corn beef hash). It was the BEST corn beef hash that I have every had. My husband and daughter has a lamb sandwich which melted in their mouths! Can't miss the all-you-can-drink bloody mary bar (complete with old bay rimmed glass!). I have eaten here several times before and have always been happy with the food and service. Highly recommend!"

"The atmosphere was great. My food was very good and two friends said their food was also very good. Unfortunately a third friends food (pasta) was VERY spicy. In fact she couldn't even eat it - it was so spicy. However with that said I have recommended the County Cork to other people."

"Very nice dinner on a fairly quiet Sunday evening. Chef is inventive, good service, good beers and OK wine list. Definitely one of the better in this area."

"We found the restaurant to be particularly noisy. There is no room to stand while waiting to be seated without being in the way of the wait staff. Although we had a reservation, we still had to wait for about 10 minutes or so to be seated. We ordered the cheese board (apparently their signature item) and they were out of several of the best selections that were on the menu. We had to settle on other less desirable choices. The cheeses were good, but the salami was cut so thick you could barely chew it. The salad I had was so awful, I didn't eat it. The dressing had no taste, the almonds that were supposed to be toasted weren't so they also had no taste. The blood oranges were dried up. My husband had a burger which was mediocre."

"In the spirit of a Pub, this location is just that...nothing that wows..but the food is very interesting and has fresh takes on common favorites like crab dip etc. Nightly specials looked wonderful and menu is just big enough.
Wine choices are pretty good but offer a better range in reds....
Owner is friendly and it is apparent that she tries to get to know her customers....
Small venue inside..sitting in a booth is more preferable."

"Our table was not ready at our 7:00pm reservation (had to wait about 40 minutes). Inspite of this we enjoyed ourselves. Food is very good, Tuesday 1/2 price bottles of wine is a GREAT idea. We will do that again! Sunday brunch is also fantastic. Simple atmosphere, a little noisy on busy nights but still a great local spot in Eldersburg."

"It has a hip atmosphere and great food! It also doesn't hurt that the drinks and wine were good as well! My Cosmo came out in a very chilled glass with a bit of shaved ice....yum! The tuna and scallops were also delicious."

"I found this place by accident. It is located in a strip center next to a mattress store, but I am glad we went in. The place was crowded on a Wed night at 7. Bright and cheery and the food was very good. Not your average bar food, much more eclectic. Will definitely go back again"

"We visited the restaurant for the first time this past weekend. Very charming interior and the server was great. They have a nice wine list and I liked the variety of cheese plates they offer, especially if you just want to stop in for a cocktail and some cheese/crackers.Food was very good. Nice presentation and healthy portion.A great find for the area."

"Food at County Cork is amazing! Wine list is extensive and overall, pricing is extremely reasonable. What a find! Have visited twice and have not been disappointed. Great Happy Hour specials and can be crowded around dinner time, so best to make a res if possible."
