"Known for their homemade pasta, which is really good. The mushroom sauce on the wide noodles is my favorite. Not a very cozy place. There are a few booths and the tables are all up against the wall. There are bistro tables in the bar area which look inviting but I haven't sat there."

"Don't let the store front fool you! Walking up, I wasn't sure what we would find inside, but once inside the door the place took on a different feel. Amazing food! Great knowledgeable staff! I would have appreciated a larger wine selection, but once the food came, I no longer worried about my wine. Very difficult to make a choice when ordering because everything looks amazing! Great find on my trip to Nashville!"

"Mirko prepares their pasta fresh and cooks it properly - al dente. The result is better pasta than any other restaurant in Nashville. The variety of pastas and sauces allows for endless combinations. The problem is location, especially because the parking lot across the street has been closed for new construction. The resulting lack of traffic casts a pall over the place. The food, however, is worth the effort."

"This restaurant has the feel of a family owned and operated restaurant. Professional but warm and fuzzy! I mentioned that the AC seemed to be blowing on us and the waiter turned the AC off-no delays, no questions. It was a non-issue for them.

"This restaurant was a great find! Dinner for my wife and I was perfect! The service was wonderful, very cheerful people that work there.
And of course their "homemade pasta" lives up to its expectations. The food was splendid!
And even on a Friday night at 7pm, the place was nice and quiet and we walked right in and had a table.

"My husband and I visited Mirko as a late Valentine's celebration. The restaurant is cozy, but there were several large groups that had been seated before we got there and seemed comfortable. Our table was right next to the entrance to the kitchen-- not a super romantic view, but since I was mostly looking at my husband I have no complaints! We had their Valentine's special (shared app, desert, and wine with a plate of pasta and sauce each). Our waitress was very helpful, and even brought us wine samples so we could choose the bottle we liked best. My husband ordered the carbonara sauce, which was SO GOOD. If I ever go back I will order that instead of the crab sauce I had (which tasted more like tuna casserole). Overall very pleased!"

"The only negative was that we were seated right in front of the door when there were better tables available for Valentine's Day. The atmosphere was better than I expected, the price was very inexpensive, and the food/presentation was very good! I had the spinach/ricotta ravioli with mushroom cream sauce. "I love the inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. Our reservations were early on a Friday night and upon arrival realized that we actually had not needed a reservation at such an hour. Our waiter was attentive, informative about the dishes & the types/varieties of pasta...and anticipated our needs well. Service is excellent at Mirko! The bread & white bean dip delivered to the table is different & a pleasant change. The freshly baked bread was the star of the evening! I tried the Lasagna Verde and although the concept was great, the delivery was a little less than hoped for. The spinach pasta was extremely soft (overcooked) and the expected bechamel sauce was virtually non-existent. However, I would give this place another chance!"

"Easily found on Music Row Restaurant strip,(as we like to call it), we entered into Mirko with reservations at 7:30. We were seated immediately, but had to go ask for a server after sitting for ten minutes. We were told that it was rush hour for them and to be patient. (I found this remark a bit terse. We frequent restaurants at this time and know when rush hour is.)
After the initial meeting had passed, we were granted a server that visited our table multiple times and gave us the "pasta tour". She was very knowledgable about the menu and made suggestions for toppings on our pasta.
Overall, it was good food and a jovial atmosphere. Don't know if we will return, but if you are wanting something different, this is your place."
