"Vibrant restaurant in the heart of Broadway. Good Italian food and wine selections at a reasonable price. My only complaint was that it took a long time for our server to acknowledge us after being seated. I was about to get up to find out who was serving our table because all the servers were completely ignoring us. We were ready to order food before the server showed up for the first time. The service was fine once we ordered, but we didn't need anything."

"I love this restaurant! I had the gnocchi with the pink sauce, our table also had the gnocchi with pesto and creams sauces, I guess we are gnocchi lovers, it was very good. Portion size was great. Our waiter was awesome. He was from Italy so it was hard to understand him at times, but I felt like that really helped the ambiance of the place. It felt like I was in an Italian restaurant. They have old family photos from Italy on the wall for a classic feel but the restaurant still feels hip and modern. Definitely would recommend! Only downside, as with all Capital Hill locations, is the parking."

"We felt like deciding to finally go into Panevino last night was one of the best decisions we've made lately. We always wanted to go, but its usually so full we go somewhere else. We've been missing out. The food was great, the service outstanding, and the Limoncello cake that "the house" sent us home with was the yummiest cake I've had. Highly recommend."

"Went on a Saturday night and made reservations for 7 pm. When we arrived our table was not ready. After waiting 10 minutes, we were offered a seat at the bar. We had a glass of wine and waited for another 40 minutes, seeing others get seated ahead. The hostess had clearly forgotten about us and my husband had to go request that we finally get a table. Our server was charismatic, which made up for the poor start to our evening, but he wasn't really on the ball. The food was good, but a touch on the pricier side for what you're actually getting - i.e. very limited amount of protein in each past dish. The desserts were wonderful. The Affogato was delicious! However, the server forgot my tea and only brought my husband's dessert."

"We arrived timely for our reservation. There was 1 two person party in front of us.not sure if they were walk-in or had a reservation. They were seated at a four person table just 2 mins before us. Then it just happened there was one table leaving,which is located in the middle of walk path. We then were directed to be seated at that table. "Authentic Italian. The burrata antipasti was perfect, 1/2 ceasar salads were just right. One of us had halibut, which was cooked fresh and perfectly prepped + roasted potatoes & fresh veggies, lot of food. One of us had lobster ravioli with pink sauce -- just right. One of us had the boar ragu and loved it (ragu came late since it had to be gluten free pasta and waiter forgot to put that on the order, he was super apologetic, took full responsibility, made that entre complimentary and treated us to a limoncello apertif - handled perfectly). Really great staff. It does get quite loud in there with no acoustic tricks to dampen the noise bouncing off the hard surfaces, but we like the food so much, we are willing to tolerate that."

"The food was pretty good and service was solid, even on a busy Saturday night. The bowl full of meatballs was a great appetizer, but there was nothing else that would necessarily distinguish Panevino from multiple other Italian restaurants in town."

"Went to the Lobster Wednesday night, and we all loved our food. There were 4 of us, and my beautiful daughter being at our table ensure the many flirtatious staff took great care of us. :) It is loud but worth it!"

"I had the veal picatta and my companion had the veal marsala. The flavors were great, the veal was a little tough couldn't tell if it needed to be cooked a little more or a little less but the flavors almost made up for it. The roasted vegetables with the veal were very good. Look forward to going back and trying something else"

"Wait staff attentive but food was slow to the table. Loud most of the evening which is uncomfortable trying to talk over the noise. Bread was best thing of the evening. My Caesar salad average. Wild boar and pasta was a good taste but dry."
