"I had some recommendations to come here but overall the flavors were not outstanding. The octopus shaken (ceviche) was over powered by the citrus. The shrimp dumpling was OK but not great - would rather get at Philip Ho. The rib tips were very good. The heirloom tomato salad was OK. Overall, for the price would rather eat at Gigi's - just did not overwhelm me."

"Having been here before for dinner, I made a reservation for a happy hour table. When me and my wife arrived we were offered two tables by the hostess and chose one. We were given the happy hour menus and ordered from them drinks and appetizer, my wife noticed a funny look from the waitress and after that comes the manager (I think) that even after I told her to check with the hostess told us the table was not for happy hour that we had to sit in another one by the entrance (outside was almost empty there were like 10 available tables on the "non happy hour area"). She said they wouldn't serve us the happy hour menu on that table. Well, we did move, but to another restaurant that would gladly take our money. Will never go back to Bloom."

"had heard good things, menu looked great. craft beer selection -- great! cocktails -- great! duck rice and chicken pad thai -- great! everything else we ate... just ok. it's family style but most portions are small-ish (except for rice). the server's recos were misleading (told us something brought 5-6 portions when it brought 3, recommended a special they were out of) and dishes took FOREVER!! it was a saturday night but not packed so can only imagine the service on a gallery night! we are going back for brunch because we have pre-purchased a gilt city deal, so i will keep my fingers crossed."

"Maybe my expectations were set too high. I was really looking forward to the Dim Sum brunch at Bloom. I should have been tipped off when we went on a Saturday (the street sign and their website advertised having it on Saturday) only to find that they only serve it on Sunday. Still, the space is fun and the menu looked promising. Cut to the chase, the space is in fact nice (we dined outside) the food had a couple of hits but mostly misses. Service was pleasant but slow, forgetful and just didn't get the orders right with maybe 4 tables seated. And while I know the allure of small plates is that you dine in a group and try different things, I also know the catch is that your final check will be high. It sure was."

"We made a reservation for three on a Tuesday evening...a girls night out type of outing. The food was inventive and the presentation was as well. The staff was very attentive and we met one of the owners who came by our table to explain the inspiration for the name "Bloom" and the heritage of the cuisine. We were there because someone I work with raved about it. We were also there to gossip and laugh. However, we spent most of our time oohhhhh'ing and ahhhhhhh'ing about the experience. Go. You won't regret it."

"Food is very good- sampled quite a few items. Had a bit of a not so nice situation with seating which was discouraging. They were clearly not motivated to seat us where we requested even though it was early and the inside area was pretty empty when we arrived. My friend was convinced that it had to do with our being 2 women as opposed to a couple. Either way, it was awkward and made us not want to return. However, our server was very good however once we settled in and was helpful in making sure my friend, who cannot eat spicy food, was able to have a few things to choose from."

"After a terrible first starter, the conch fritters which were oily and soggy. Everything after was fantastic! The Asian and South American infusion of flavours were remarkable and portion size perfection for one and great for 2 to share. I will definitely will go back!"

"One of the owners took the time to explain the menu.very friendly.Very interesting food.A little expensive, you have to order several dishes for each diner because the portions are quite modest A good choice of restaurant to try something out of the ordinary."

"This wasn't our first visit. This is one the most under-rated ,under-appreciated restaurants imaginable. Fresh,innovative,fun,,etc.,etc.,etc. This is a solo enterprise,we'd put up against The 50 Eggs & Pubbelly groups. And we revere those two."

"Food was good, I thought it would be better. Liked the location and outdoor space. A bit expensive for what arrived on the plate, we were excited to go and try it. With all the amazing restaurants in Miami, not wowed."
