Located in the heart of Soho, Cafe Noir, part bistro, part tapas bar, has become a cherished neighborhood institution. With its Mediterranean ambience and reputation for hip-rattling world music DJ sessions, Cafe Noir has kept a diverse crowd of "in-the-knows" moving and shaking for over Eighteen years.
"Very good tapas selection and a lively atmosphere made it a fun and casual place to take a larger group to nosh on the many tasty small plates. The service is spotty, but the flowing drinks and the food make up for it. It's not fancy by any stretch, but a worthwhile place to check out if you are in the neighborhood. The bar is hopping and crowded, but the room/tables in the back provide a nice unexpected break from the typical SOHO restaurant."
