Wave Bistro is a family owned, Asian-Fusion restaurant. We blend different tastes such as Japanese, Thai, Chinese, and French cooking methods to craft unique and flavorful dishes.
"We found Wave Bistro on TripAdvisors. We attended the Berkshire Hathaway meeting and were grateful to have a nice restaurant booked on the Friday night. Nice ambiance and table settings.
Service was outstanding with great suggestions and she brought extras like lime and chili sauce based on what we said we liked. Started with the firecracker shrimp roll...excellent; mixed seafood green curry (she suggested changing to mixed seafood instead of just shrimp based on what I was debating between) and my husband had the short rib curry. The two meals complimented each other. Nice drink list and bartender made a Manhattan that wasn't on the list.
The owner and the cook came out to talk to us. Nice. We enjoyed very much and will be back!"

"Came to Wave Bistro while visiting family in Omaha. I had to press the recommendation because of the strip mall location, but the Wave's fabulous food and staff have made me the food guru of the family. James provided attentive service - nothing we asked for was refused. Our dinners, shared around the table, were all superb;
The Lettuce wrap chicken -shrimp combo were the best I've ever had; the Cashew crusted salmon with fried rice was fresh and perfectly cooked; the Yakisoba beef noodles were flavorful and the Thai Basil encrusted chicken was succulent. I'm embarrassed to say I ate three of the rice & wheat rolls lightly fried with a doughnut taste and consistency of a flaky biscuit - dessert:). Can't wait to return."

"This is a neighborhood gem indeed. All the dishes I have had at Wave Bistro have been most tasty indeed. Special seasoning and care has been put into each dish and so it is fun to try different ones but then I get so fond of the ones I have already tried, I want to have those again as well! Connie who with her husband, the chef, owns Wave Bistro, will come out and meet you and is most personable. James is a very informative waiter and knows what to recommend if needed. I am so happy to have found Wave Bistro."

"Had a Great time! Juan was our waiter; he was very friendly, knowledgeable and a wonderful server. We will definitely be returning. Only thing I would wish more restaurants in general would add, would be some notation on the menu for food allergies - dairy, wheat, egg ect.g I had the Mango Chicken item (can;t remember the exact name) and it was wonderful! Very tasty and the sauce was delicious! The atmosphere was great! It was Very Very clean!!! We had been looking for a nicer asian restaurant and for it to have French influences just made it that much better! We will be recommending to many of our friends."

"Wonderful restaurant! Every time we visit, the food and service are great! It's a nice quiet place to have an adult conversation - this is where my husband and I go on our date nights. He orders the sea bass and I like the lemon creamy almond shrimp. These are our favorite meals, but all of the dishes we have tried are excellent. I highly recommend Wave Bistro!"

"James was awesome and made recommendations for food and wine we both loved. I only rated the service lower because they were horribly understaffed and we had to wait so long to order, etc."

"Highly recommend this place. Did an appetizer (crab cakes), two entrees (cashew encrusted salmon was amazing) and dessert (creme brûlée) and everything was top notch. This place exceeded our expectations and we'll definitely be back!"

"Food was excellent. They have the best appetizers and, maybe dessert in town. We had the crab cakes, pork dumplings, and chicken lettuce wraps. All were excellent. The crab cakes are one of the best I have ever eaten and the lettuce wraps compare to P.F. Chiangs. The portions are plentiful and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, they did not have a table ready for us even though we had a reservation. We had to wait for 15 minutes, although they did bring out a new table for us, apologized, and bought us dessert. The place is loud and a little cramped when full. Overall, I rate it as the second best restaurant in the omaha metro."

"Usually I've found Tripadvisor rating system to be reliable, but not this time. I met some friends for dinner, we arrived at 6:30 and found the restaurant to be nearly empty, I asked the waiter if his restaurant was the number one rated eating place in Omaha, he told me that I must have heard that from Tripadvisor, he said that his restaurant was in the top five. I ordered a special seafood in a black bean sauce, it was not special, it' s not something that I would order if I came back, which I won't. I will say that when we left the restaurant was full."
