Dining at Ocean has been described as, "A unique experience that touches all the senses." Enjoy tapas and nouveau American cuisine in a sultry and sleek setting. Choose from a large communal table and group tables on the main level or our lower-level lounge complete with a private bar. Please join us for daily happy hour from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at our main level bar. We are now offering half price bottles of select wines every Tuesday.

"Easton now has a lot of very good restaurants which serve a variety of different types of foods, and my wife and I have been to many of them. We go to Ocean, though, when we want a really special experience. The food is very well prepared and presented, and the service is usually quite good (the only caveat here is that we have been to Ocean a few times when they were a bit under-staffed and as a result the service isn't as crisp as it is on other occasions--but this isn't something we hold against them.)
We typically get several small plates to share rather than the entrees. Among our favorites are Root Beer Glazed Pork Belly, Scallop BLT, House Made Meatballs, Tuna Tartar, and Duck Confit. Also, try the PB&J for desert."

"We went to Ocean for a Mother's Day Brunch. Ocean is not normally open in the afternoon, but they didn't miss a beat. Everything was very good as usual. Ferry Street has a couple of hidden gems and Ocean is definitely one of them!"

"Second time dining at Ocean and it was fabulous. We had a group of 6 and everyone enjoyed all the appetizers and entrees. The lobster mac & cheese is a must try as is the braised short ribs. It was a little noisy, but that's to be expected on a Friday evening."

"We went to Ocean 235 for Mother's Day lunch. Each course was creatively conceived, well executed and very tasty. The service was prompt, knowledgeable and pleasant.

"This was our second visit to Ocean 235 and it was just as amazing this time around. There were 4 of us each time and we ordered different items and everyone loved their choices, from starters through dessert. We highly recommend their chocolate ice cream with cayenne and cinnamon....omg.....

"Had been to Ocean several times for private parties or drinks, but never had a full meal here until this trip. I know they had been known for their bar scene, but hadn't heard much about the food. Our late dinner here was absolutely delicious! We had the ahi tuna, scallops, and short rib entrees and all three were very good and very filling. Chip and Nook took great care of us and we will certainly return."

"My husband and I were in Easton for the weekend and had a fantastic dinner at Ocean. All appetizers were outstanding except the Dijon mustard shrimps, good but not sorich in flavor. Tuna tartar, special soup of the day (curry coconut milk cod) and truffle fries were executed extremely well. Crispy skin salmon was one of the best fish dishes I had in while and living in NYC our food standard is pretty high. Vanilla creme brulee was just perfect, spicy chocolate dessert is for you if you are into spicy food.
Service was not the fastest since there was a large private party downstair, the owner came to our table to apologize and offered us complementary desserts, very nice of him.
Overall a great experience, I wish Ocean was in NYC."

"Everything was very well prepared and creative. The drink prices seemed high considering we were their during the happy hour and sat at the bar before we were seated. We thought the selection of fish was limited, but the preparation was outstanding. The apps, salad and entree were reasonably price. The table next to us was a bit loud, but it was a large group. We were impressed with the food and the drinks. Really a nice night out."

We each had the vegetable bisque (outstanding), shared 3 appetizers and the Ahi Tuna entre.
The scallops were of the best quality and seared to perfection. Fried calamari was tender with a crispy coating. Lobster mac-n-cheese very rich and satisfying. We also shared the Rare Ahi Tuna with Udon noodles. The Tuna was well seasoned and seared nicely. For desert the chocolate chip cheesecake spring rolls, that were light and tasty.

"We had dinner at Ocean 235 the other night, our second visit there. So glad to see that the great dinner we had there a few months ago (scallops for him, seared duck breast with butternut squash, apples and goat cheese for her) wasn't just a fluke - again the meal was delicious! Mussels appetizer was plentiful and yummy; the monkfish and the crispy salmon cooked perfectly. Thanks, Ocean 235! We look forward to coming again."

"It was our first time and it was an extremely pleasant surprise. The food was enough but not too much. It was delicious. Service was great and ambiiance was relaxing. It was dark but not too dark. "Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Took my husband here for his birthday. Asked for a nice private table and was accomadated. Told server we were in no rush and she listened. It was so nice to have a great date night! Now to the food, Started w beet and goat cheese salad very good. Hubby had seafood chowder special, yummy! I had scallops &risoto omg!!! One of the best dishes...amazing. Hubby had tuna w noodles, very good too but thought mine was better. Ocean lemonade was great too. Only neagtive was not alot od dessert chouce. Lots of chocalate ones which I am not overly fond of, crazy I know. Husband's creme brulee was great. Would have preferred a fruit or lemon tart but cant be too picky. All in all wonderful meal and service!!!!"

"Absolutely worth the drive from Allentown. The meal and drinks were excellent and the service even better. Casual atmoshere with high end food. Tyler our waiter was very knowledgable and friendly. One of the best parts was the owner checking in on our meal periodically with a great conversation. Plus a final goodbye to make sure our experience was as good as he wants it to be - and it was. We will be back."

"This was our third visit and it's been all downhill from first. My wife had duck confit which was neither crispy nor tasty as before. I ordered rare tuna with udon--the tuna came out medium and tasteless, and the udon came out soft and cheesy. When we asked for bread at start, we received two miniscule rolls. We won't be returning."

"Wow! Found this place after searching the internet and walking by after being in the neighborhood. What a find! From the moment we walked in the service was excellent. We had 8:30 reservations (made online) and arrived a tad early. THe maitre suggested we wait at the bar because our table was just about to clear (even though other tables were open) but he informed us our "reserved" table was in a corner....so WORTH the small wait. WE had the corner booth in the back and it was like private dining. A party of four we tried three appetizers - mussels with carmelized onion and chorizo, lobster mac and cheese, and calamari. All were wonderful. Dinner entrees (duck, scallops, crispy salmon, and crispy chicken) - EXCELLENT! Will be back!"

"Ocean was selected, as my friend and I has rickets to a show at the State Theatre & my recommendation.
The owner was charming, service excellent. While we waited for our meal, the owner asked us to try a complimentary dish they were considering......chicken spring roll with jam........absolutely delightful!
Just before our meals were to be served, owner made soft recommendation for wine with meal......again, he selection was perfect and complimented both dishes.
My friend was totally surprised by Ocean and is already planning our next meal there. Looking forward to summer, so we can enjoy tapas & drinks outside."

"Ocean 235 provides a hip, cosmopolitan experience in the middle of the family friendly Lehigh Valley. A great place for a girls night out or romantic dinner for two. The tapas are outstanding and wine list decent. The overall atmosphere is fun and personal service is delivered to every table. "I've been here three times, and it has delivered. The service has been good and they stick to reservations.
My calamari was fairly rubbery, and disappointing. It was better the last time I tried it. Otherwise my salmon was good and my fiancee's meal was good. Another time I was here, I got the burger with the egg on top, and that was really good.
Some of the tables are a bit close together, like manhattan style... but otherwise the ambiance is fine and the service is always good. Overall I think they are doing a good job here."

"We were attending the Fab Faux show at the State Theater, and I looked up the local restaurants before going. Ocean stood out, clearly ahead of the rest. The calamari and scallops were every bit as good as promised! My wife was on crutches, and the manager noticed, provided a chair so that she might elevate her leg, and stayed with us until he was sure she was as comfortable as possible.
Notes: reservations are absolutely ESSENTIAL. We would have had a bit of a wait if we did not have them. The restaurant efficiently "turns tables", moving diners through without ever rushing them. A well oiled machine that provides the exact service it's designed to accomplish. Noise is high,but not unbearable. Be sure to order the CALAMARI!!!"

"This was our first time at Ocean. I had an amazing meal. The mussel appetizer was delicious. These were easily the best mussels I've ever had; they were buttery and creamy. I also had the monkfish entree. It was one of the best meals I've had because it had the perfect combination of flavors and textures. I had to resist the urge to lick my plate! Our server was very attentive and very helpful with the menu and drink selections. Overall, I would go back to Ocean in a heartbeat...and I hope we do soon! :)"

"The Ocean is our favorite place to dine. It's truly a gem of a night time dinner spot. It's a special place for special occasions but also just for a very nice experience. Devon, the lead server, is just a joy and her descriptions of the meals makes you realize that she's a foodie and truly loves her work. "My wife and I enjoyed the food and the service at Ocean 235. The owner asked if we would like a table early as we entered and our intention had been to have a drink at the bar. But having that drink at our table was good for us and we ended up having wine. We each ordered salmon but different recipes. Mine was a garlic herb sauce which I wouldn't order again as the garlic over-powered the salmon. My wife loved her asian spiced salmon. I would rate this restaurant as equal to three other local restaurants for food quality and service. The atmosphere and decor are special but the tables are too intimately grouped for my taste. The owner asked us how well we liked our dining experience and I said I would recommend his place to all."

"We went to Ocean 235 after hearing about it and reading the reviews. We had an early dinner just after the restaurant opened at 5:00. We found the restaurant to be outstanding in everyway we would have liked. Server was excellent, explaining the menu, serving, and checking back periodically. The "small plates" (dijon shrimp and also calamari) were great, and the entree (4 good sized scallops on a bed of risotto and monk fish were both delicious and in an adequate portion, especially after the small plate appetizers. We felt the price was fair. We could have spent less if we chose one small plate or just the entree, or just small plates, and would still have been more than pleased.
