"The omelettes and other egg dishes (at the brunch) were not good. The other dishes on the brunch menu were okay but not great. Too bad because the restaurant is really nice, and so are the location, the service, the level of clean, the setting and the view!"

"The food was excellent. My husband and I had calamari and spinach pie for appetizers. Our entrée included grilled scallops and Chilean sea bass. Every dish was excellent. I can't wait to return and try some other dishes. In addition, the service and atmosphere were wonderful. I highly recommend Ouzo Bay."

"We went here for a birthday. We were in a group of 4, however, the drinks were flowing and we ordered many many items to share in addition to our main courses. We were a bit taken a back at the huge charge for the small dessert to celebrate a birthday."

"We enjoyed dinner and the service was excellent. I would recommend the dip and calamari appetizer. The Lima beans were also delicious. I would not order the dolmas again. They were flavorless and waste if space. Also, the baklava was just ok and a very small piece for $9.00"

"Ouzo is for greek dinning in an elegant setting. We ordered a 5 lb fresh fish to share among 4 diners. The fish was first grilled over a charcoal fire, as only the greek can do, and then baked in the oven. The result was excellent. We chose a Moschofillero wine. A quality greek white most appropriate to accompany the grilled fish.

"Ouzo Bay has good food, but lacks the heart that makes a restaurant great. It's overly loud, warm and crowded, and no patron feels special. We arrived 10 minutes early for our 8:30 reservation (on our anniversary) and weren't seated until almost 9. They told us repeatedly a table was leaving and we would be seated "in a minute." They then tried to seat us in the crowded and very noisy bar area at a corner booth that had a post dividing it! I think a reservation entitled us to an actual table in the dining room, in a timely manner. When we were finally seated, the food and service were fine--though the octopus and scallops was overly salted, and the Greek cake tasted stale and refrigerated. The Black Olive does all of this so much better."

"The scallops were under cooked and even after being sent back for more cooking, they were still not cooked adequately. Very disappointing. The moussaka while tasty was a small portion cooked in a small shallow pan it was totally different from the moussaka I had on a previous visit that was a nice square portion standing about 1 1/2 inches high. It was disappointing."

"If not for the hype and 1 month advanced Saturday night reservation, I'd have ranked higher. Amazing how much hype there is surrounding this restaurant. Literally booked 1 month in advance to get a 7:30 Saturday Night reservation. Hostess seemed annoyed - probably b/c the place is jam packed and oddly extremely loud. When I read the reviews about how loud this restaurant was, i was like whatever, I like restaurants with energy - but this was on a different level of loud. Even though we had a reservation we still had to wait almost 30 minutes to be seated.We ordered the Octopus appetizer and zucchini chips. Octopus was good, Zucchini - meh. Scallops decent and wife liked SeaBass. probably need to get lamb or prawns, their popular dishes"

"The atmosphere is perfect, especially on a mild evening when the walls are opened up, eliminating barriers between indoors and out. It reminded me of many places I've been to in Athens...contemporary and open air. The service and wait staff all very friendly. The food was very good although I wouldn't necessarily go here when I'm in the mood for Greek food.... was on the pricey side but that's fine for special occassion type place. My friends loved the Bronzino they had and all of the appetizers were very good, including the grilled octopus. I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was very fresh. I didn't care for the sauce that came with it....tomato base with cinnamon and other spices...but that's me."

"I was disappointed in restaurant - there were such raves. Our table was too small and service was poor. They just kept piling food on the table acting as if we should make room. I finally ask that the service slow down to a reasonable pace. I think other wait staff was much better. Food was fine but nothing really got my attention. Desserts have been raved about. Mine was OK but there was NO spun sugar and the filo was soggy.
I had told them it was a birthday celebration but that was completely ignored.
If this was closer to home I'd probably try it again. However, it is not worth the trouble to me to drive downtown and pay to park. I can do as well in Annapolis without the hassle."

"The food was absolutely amazing. We split the baked feta, spreads app, Bronzino, prime filet and rice pilaf with leeks.
The flavors were very unique and unlike any other Baltimore restaurant. The atmosphere was a hot spot for all ages. To be completely honest, the service was fair which was surprising for a restaurant of this caliber. Despite the service, we would definitely return for dinner."

"Ouzo Bay is a great addition to Baltimore's restaurant and bar scene. I've been twice and only had seafood, which I judge as fair. My friends have had meat and assure me that it's superb. The service (my waiter both times has been Howard) is efficient and with a smile, the drinks are healthy in size and price, but overall the price is reasonable for a top restaurant."

"Took my wife and college aged daughter to Ouzo Bay for the first time on Mother's Day and we were all very pleased with the quality, presentation and taste of our food. We shared the spanakopita, lamb meat balls and cheese stuffed calamari as appetizers and they were all very good. My wife ordered the lamb shank and it was excellent, while my daughter ordered the seafood pasta, which was loaded with fresh shellfish and scallops.
We will be back, especially when the weather warms up to dine on their outdoor patio.
Howard, our server, was attentive and very friendly.

"We had a great time. However, be careful when you call for a reservation to ask to be seated at a normal size table. We arrived and all they had was a small round table with low chairs. Its more for drinks and an appetizer rather than having four dinner plates doing a balancing act on the table."

"The food was good, server was not friendly, seemed very overwhelmed. We had to move our table after being seated in the bar because it was so noisy. It felt like everyone was screaming to be heard and made for an unpleasant evening."

"I have the Grill Sea Bream, which have a little capers and lemon juice on it, very simple, anyone could cook that. I expected something more special for paying 28 dollars, maybe a more interesting sauce! I also ordered the Shrimp Casserole for an appetizer, which has a spicy tomato sauce, the shrimp was slightly cold, looks like they just pour warm sauce on cold shrimp, again it was not special for a 12 dollars dish.
For dessert I ordered Galaktoboureko ~ Vanilla Custard Vanilla Custard with Greek Phyllo, Honey Syrup & Orange Reduction, the phyllo dough was not flaky, kind of wet. The orange honey reduction was good."

"A very nice restaurant but surely not the best in Baltimore. Appetizers were very good; the entrees were fine but not such that you were making another reservation upon leaving the restaurant. The wine list has a very good selection of Greek wines but I just find it objectionable to pay $42 for a bottle of wine I can buy for $15 (and assumedly the restaurant can buy for less). Service was very good; the noise level is, for me, a major problem. Hard to have a conversation with your dinner mate at times - surely they need to add some soundproofing. Worth a return visit but expect next time expect I will get only appetizers; many of which sound really interesting.."

"The mezze and fresh fish are done to perfection - the roasted octopus is a must! Nice location on the water so outside dining is pleasant in the evening. Try the Trojan Horse cocktail or a wide assortment of Ouzo."

"We had reservations for 7:30 and had to wait one hour to be seated. When finally seated it wasn't in the main restaurant but in a small table suited for drinks before dinner. Food was good, not great. Soft shell crabs were very disappointing. This was our third time dining at Ouzo and probably our last. Too many other good restaurants with better service and food."

"Too noisy!!! We were given our check(did not ask for it) while eating dessert - a bit pricy to be rushed out. Valet service is a charge and failed to have umbrellas to walk to the car. We were wet as was the inside of our car from the poor valet drivers who were also without umbrellas."
