Andiamo Ristorante is a fine dining restaurant which offers authentic Italian cuisine. We are locally owned, and not affiliated with any chain restaurants. We are also recognized by the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce of Texas Inc. as the only authentic Italian restaurant in Austin, TX.
We feature the freshest ingredients from local farms, and offer a seasonal menu in a traditional European-styled course, designed to pair beautifully with our extensive selection of prestigious Italian wines. We also cater to everyone with a gluten-free restriction diet.
We host Monthly Wine Dinner events on every Last Tuesday for $45 per person. It is a four-course dinner with wine pairings, and we feature a different menu each month, which is available on our website.
"We had a good, not great meal, at Andiamo. Still looking for the best Italian food in restaurant in Austin. There are so few of them that they all take that label when promoting themselves. The menu seemed very limited and when I got my food, my appetizer was good but my entree just okay. It was still a great night because our waiter was so fantastic."

"I took a friend to Andiamo for her birthday dinner. I, unfortunately, had to reschedule about 3 times, but they always answered instantly each time and they made an effort to sound happy to hear from me. The food was very good. I ate the best fish I've ever had in my life at this restaurant. The only strange thing seemed to be the location of the restaurant; it is in an unsuspecting location, but this is not a show stopper. I highly recommend Andiamo Restorante if you have a date or special occasion coming up :)."

"I really wanted to like this place. I kept reading good reviews, and I was excited to try it. My date and I ordered off the Restaurant Week menu ($37 per person) and added two salads. No wine or any other extras. Our salads came and my dining companion said, "Oh! I didn't know their portions would be so... artsy." Code for: tiny! Salads small. The tiramisu was a tiny slice, so lonely on that big plate! Bottom line: for $100+, I want more than I got. I would like warmer, more attentive service and larger portions. I'm not asking for an all-you-care-to-eat buffet, but I would like to feel satisfied after dropping a Ben Franklin. Sadly, there was nothing here that I liked enough to warrant a return trip."

"Went for Restaurant Week to support Meals on Wheels and More. The filet on the prix fixe menu was excellent, as was the salad. The experience was marred, however, by the practice of using the previously used wine glass for the next paring. Red wine paring was poured into the previously used white wine goblet, and so on, through the meal. While this may be the practice in Italy, most Austin foodies and wine lovers find it less than desirable."

"My husband and I enjoyed our evening at Andiamo. The food was terrific. We started with the fried calamari with anchovy. Spectacular. Followed with the shaved fennel salad which we decided to share and the waiter served it on two plates--very thoughtful. I had the shrimp Luci Johnson for the entrée and it was very flavorful. My husband had the veal ravioli and he said it was very tasty---good pasta on the ravioli. He had the cheesecake for dessert but he said it was average. The only mild disappointment was no wine by the glass. The two of us were not in the mood for a bottle. But that is not a deal breaker for us. I will come again if for the calamari alone."

"Terrific food, though portions tend on the small side. The fennel salad with truffle oil and walnut is spectacular. Appetizers are not large enough to share. This is a great neighborhood gem that provides very authentic Italian food and true Italian flavors."

"Too many restaurant menus today impose a struggle to find two entrees worth ordering. At Andiamo's, you have to eliminate many to select just two, with a quick mental review of your calendar to determine when you can come back to try the others. We started with Fried Calamari, which we try at every Italian restaurant we've ever visited. We were very surprised when the plate was presented with no sauce. None was needed. Cooked to perfection, extremely tasty. Our chicken with proscuitto and Marsala sauce was wonderful, as was the veal with brandy cream sauce. A great wine list heavy on the Italian reds was a delight, with a grand Montepulciano for only $40. Overall a great night out."

"What a terrific restaurant. Looking from the road, it is situated very humbly in a strip mall. However, when you enter, you will find top notch service and food quality that rivals the other other fine Italian restaurants in Austin. I highly recommend Adiamo!"

"Entrees are delicious and well presented. Salads are miniscule. Don't plan on sharing. Waiter provides tastes of several wines and I noticed he did that with each table.
Decor is stark and though we were there on a slow night mid week I can imagine it is quite noisy when crowded. Even so we were smack dab next to another table. Had they been the loud drinking kind it would have been unbearable.
Entrees are $18.50 -$27."

"What a gem in the neighborhood! The dishes were fantastic! I especially love the fritti del mare. That is my go-to dish from now on. Oh don't forget the Andiamo bread with cheese, artichoke and spinach in it. Bet you can't stop at one piece."

"I have been to this restaurant many times but this may have been my last visit. I made an opentable reservation for 5 people, but changed it the day before to 6. This was done plenty of time prior to the reservation and it did not appear they were sold out of reservations. When I arrived promptly at 6:30 (with the rest of the party arriving 5-10 minutes after), the host told me our reservation was for 5 people and gave me a hard time about it (even though I had the confirmation email the day before that I had changed it to 6).
When the food arrived, only 4 out of the 6 people in my party were served. The other two did not get their meals for a full 10 minutes. My dish was cold. 20% gratuity was added."

"Wonderful list of Italian wines. My secondi territa something or other with shrimp, scallops and squid was so so so so good. I chose not to eat gluten and found this dish very satisfying. The place is clean and not cluttered but the ambiance is a little like grandmas without the tchotchkes. We enjoyed it and will go again."

"We went on a Wednesday night to celebrate my birthday. There were several large tables so our servce was VERY slow. The noise came from the large tables near by. Our waiter was very good but too busy! Food was delicious as usual."
