Fantastic, coastal Mexican Seafood. Traditional Mexican Flavor, from a Mexican Chef who is focused on the most modern and creative interpretation of his country classic dishes.
"I was expecting something better. The first time I tried to go I had a reservation but when I arrived the hostess was not friendly at all and she said there was too many people in the restaurant so the reservation was not valid anymore, can you believe it? We tried again anyway, she was again really unfriendly but we got a table, food was just average so after all that effort food was not what I was expected!. I am not going back NEVER!!"

"As a precursor to the complaint about the service, I believe they were simply short-staffed; the food made up for the wait. Lovely beer batter on the shrimp paired with Bloody Mary's custom made to fit the palate. Worth the visit (and the wait)."

"This is my fourth or fifth time at La Fisheria (family, group of friends, visitors, etc). Always very nice, excellent services and the plates are outstandings in presentation and tasting. Churros rock! Only complains of most of friends, the high prices! Gracias..."

"This is a seafood restaurant. We ordered both shrimp and octopus. They were out of both. The service was very slow. When we got the food it was very good. Our reservations were at noon so it seems like they shouldn't have had a supply problem that early in the day."

"A terrific Mex-Mex place specializing in fish, but not exclusively. The red snapper and sweet potato was fresh and cooked just right. Save room for the coconut sponge cake dessert."

"En la Fishería fuimos atendidas extraordinariamente. Tanto la atención del personal como haber tenido el privilegio de haber conocido al maravilloso chef: Aquiles Chávez: cálido, creativo, maestro, hizo que la comida que -notable es, sin duda, dado lo genuino de su autoría- haya hecho de la visita al lugar, un espacio en el alma y los sentidos."

"The pork dish I had was tasty, service was fine. I would go back to this restaurant. The menu looked interesting and I would like to try some other dishes. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and she was given a complimentary dessert. This is such a nice touch. Both the service & presentation was very good."

"The food was generally good. The chef bobbled the baked oysters, however. They were tasteless and watery. The tomato salad was very nice, with an interesting Mexican twist. My red snapper was slightly overlooked but not inedible. The combination with sweet potato and diced vegetables was quite good. My wife's duck breat was also tasty. The decent food was overshadowed by perhaps the worst waiter in recent memory. He was unable to grasp the concept of a Lemon Drop with a sugared rim. After asking three times for the order, it ultimately came to the table without the sugared rim. Lengthy delays between visits by the waiter meant empty water glasses, empty drinks and vast expanses of time between courses. The meal took 2 hours."
