"Food was very good. Like most fine dining establishments, the menu was limited. Every meal had a variety of different flavors. Service was impeccable. Went there for dinner and paid $110 a person so it was pretty expensive."

"The food was good however I was disappointed in that the menu selection was a limited menu not the menu posted on the website due to the fact that the restaurant was closing in a few days. We were celebrating a birthday and the person who was celebrating had wanted a steak s I chose this restaurant as it had quite a selection of menu items. Unfortunately steak was not on the menu. There was no mention of this on the MGM Grand website when I booked the reservation and only found out when seated at the table."

"Nobhill is ALWAYS an excellent choice - and one we always make - when visiting Vegas. Not only is the food outstanding, but the service (especially Jacob, who serves us almost every time) is bar none.
My only disappointment was to hear that that MGM will be closing down Nobhill in a matter of weeks, in order to make room for a new Michael Mina restaurant. By far and away, this has been one of our top five restaurants and it's sad to see something this great, go.
If you're in Vegas over the next couple of weeks, I highly suggest getting a table - and for sure, ordering the lobster pot pie (one of their specialties)."

"I know this place is closing the end of March, but this is another in a long line of stellar Michael Mina restaurants. Food was delicious and service was very good. The fish and chips is not like anything I've had before and the cold seafood platter for 1 easily feeds 2, which makes if a good deal. I'm sorry to see this place close, it would have been a place I visited again."

"We had a 9:30 reservation and were seated in the large dining room at table for 2. Group of 8 guys near us were so loud and rowdy we thought they we thought they were going to start throwing food. Then a group of ten was seated next to us. At this point my husband and i had to shout to hear each other. I know it's Vegas but its still a Michael Mina restaurant---would have thought they were capable of figuring out better couples arrangement. . We decided to come back in an hour hoping one of the lovely booths in the bar would be available. These are great if you have 2-4 people--quiet yet part of the bar scene. We finally had dinner--Food was great and wait staff wonderful. Maitre D' and host station worthless."

No apology or explanation was given by either the host of server of what took the extra time.
The busser came by and gave us water pretty quickly. The server then came and took our drink orders. It came about 10 minutes later (55 minutes after our reservation time we were given our first item). We came here for the Lobster Pot Pie, which the server told us was sold out. I would have brought my issues to a manager if one had bothered to stop by. Out of room to elaborate, but the food was very tasty."

"The seafood tower (appetizer) was just great. It has great eye-appeal when it is brought to the table and tasted just as good. A couple of people at our table ordered the Japanese steak (waygu?) and said that it was spectacular. Chocolate cake - to die for. And the duck fat french fries were tremendous. Only criticism (minor) was that the fries should be served with an aioli; that said, the server brought aioli when I asked for it."

"We headed here for a post show dinner so we were both ready to eat. The staff was very friendly and calling us my name (from the reservation) was a real nice touch. It was also refreshing to see them work as a team and attend all tables as needed. We started with the excellent Charcuterie sampler - comes with a good country style pate. My wife then has the harissa glazed lamb shank - tender "fall off the bone" but lack a little spice to give it the full Moroccan feel with the couscous. I enjoyed a medium done Filet (no pink) and matched it with an excellent Muga Roija.
The place was full, with a good vibe, but not too noisy as we didn't need to shout across the table."

"Despite a 7:30 reservation, we weren't seated until 8:10. Walking to our table was like crossing a freeway with waitstaff moving so quickly (some were close to running) . Once safely seated, the service was slow to start but then got on pace.
We started with the Honeycrisp Apple Salad and Shaved Octopus and both were good. For mains, we had the 8oz filet and the Harissa Lamb Shank. The steak was cooked perfectly and the lamb was a very large portion. Both were very good although the lamb didn't have as much spice as I would have expected. The Pumpkin pot-de-creme for dessert was very good and large enough to share. Although we didn't complain about the initial wait, they did comp our coffee."

"Overall our experience was very good. We had one of the booths opposite the bar and it was very private. I'm sure the dining room would have had a different feel. The food was excellent and the service started of fine. Our server seemed to forget about us mid way through our meal and the manager had to get our empty drinks refilled. It didn't ruin the evening but it put a bit of a damper on an otherwise good meal."

"The experience was amazing. the entire staff greeted me by my first name throughout the evening without me introducing myself b/c they remembered it by my reservations through OpenTable. The Lobster Pot Pie is a must have! It is prepared in a sauce pot and served table side to you. Mr. Tracy, the manager seated us and also took the time to stop by our table during our dinner to make sure all was well. Our server, Leonardo was exceptional! He knew that my BF and I were going to share our dishes and offered to divide the meal for us instead of us switching plates.

"I can't say enough about how outstanding the food and the service was. We had the Octopus/Calamari appetizer that I can't stop thinking about, it was so good and so unique! The service was perfect, the waiter was there when you wanted him, gone when you didn't, helpful but not too talkative. I was absolutely floored by everything, it's so rare to have that trifecta of food, service, and ambiance."

"While we enjoyed our meals, they were out of the tuna (my first choice) and (if I remember correctly) the lava cake — and it was only 8:15pm on a Saturday. That was disappointing as I found the chicken to be very good but no better than chicken anywhere else. The brussel sprouts were outstanding, and my dining partner loved the lamb."

"The service was alright at best. It seems that the wait staff have an agenda to upsell the menu. each time we asked about a menu item that was not at the top of the price list, we were told that it was not a great choice.
It took forever to receive our bread basket. And, when it arrived, the tastiest part would have been the basket itself.
I would avoid this place. There are many amazing restaurants in town. This is certainly not one of them."
