"This was by far one of the most notable dinners I have had the pleasure to enjoy in my entire life. I sat on the balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountain, which is the only way to eat at this restaurant the wait is well worth it. We enjoyed three hours of fountain shows over a three course delight. We started with the Beef Carpaccio, which I highly recommend (as do the waiters). We followed that with the grass fed veal for her and the t bone lamb for me which both tasted exquisite. We rounded out the night with the chocolate hazelnut soufflé which was decadent to say the least. This is by far the most notable date we have been on with excellent food an excellent view and superior service. I highly recommend it to couples and foodies alike."

"So amazing! Don't even know where to begin! Extremely busy place so call for reservations, and go in early if you want to sit outside on the very small and quaint patio overlooking the Bellagio water show. It's the strip so you will be paying premiums alcohol prices but don't let that stray you. The food was fabulous! Service was terrific! Staff was fun and energetic even though they were crazy busy! Staff was extremely accommodating - they are there to make sure you are happy and quite satisfied. My new favorite Vegas Strip restaurant."

"We visited Las Vegas last week with a group of four. I made reservations two months in advance requesting a patio table online as well as calling after the reservation was made. With all this effort OLiVES still could not manage to reserve us a table on the patio. Our waiter was very efficient, friendly and the food was delicious, so it was a let down seeing their hostess be very rude and not able to explain to us why we couldn't sit on the patio. What is the point of reservations if you will not reserve some of your tables. It is a shame because we will not be eating there again. There are plenty of other delicious restaurants in Las Vegas that have their reservation system in order that we will be dining at to deal with that mess again."

"Olives stole the show on our Vegas trip. We had a 5pm reservation on the patio by the fountains. I wouldn't recommend it any other way. The food was fabulous, the scenery unbelievable, and the atmosphere was really special."

"I have eaten here before with an inside seat and liked it very much. The flatbreads are excellent and so are the entree's. But the patio, with its limited seating and excellent views of the Bellagio fountains, puts Olive's over the top as a go to place. I would recommend going at night as the summer heat can be troubling. But good luck getting seated out there as it is in high demand. We went midweek during the summer and before 6pm, and got in no problem. This is not true at other times. I don't want to make Olive's seem like it's just a patio as the food is excellent, but the patio made it especially memorable. The Salmon and Sea Bass were excellent. Would definitely go again, even without the patio."

"Second time we have done this. Make a reservation at this very good Todd English Italian. Arrive and ask for a table out on the veranda. You can go for a walk, play the machines or just sit at the bar. It may be a long wait. Your reward is that you have a front row seat for the Bellagios dancing water show during dinner. Love it!"

"We've eaten here at least 15x previously, but haven't been back to Vegas in a couple years. What a disappointment! We visited the night before for cocktails and just to make sure what time we needed to arrive in order to get a veranda seat for our dinner. We love to watch/listen to the fountains show. We were told to arrive @5:30 if we wanted to be seated outside for our 6:00 reservation. We arrived @5:15. That same hostess told us we wouldn't be seated until 6:45/7:00. We had a show to see @8:00. So we sat at the bar again filling up on olives, bread, appetizers, and champagne. By the time we were sat, I was full, my husband ordered dinner and we enjoyed one song - fountains. We stayed at the Bellagio too! It has gone way downhill!"

"We arrived early for our reservation, hoping to score a seat outside to no avail. Our disappointment was quickly squashed by the foie gras and carpaccio appetizers, followed by the lobster candy wrappers, scallops, and prime filet with crabcakes. "Really good food & great table service. Disappointed by not honouring request made in advance for patio table. Recommend anything on the menu - its all good. But we had pork tenderloins & a fig/ ham flatbread, on the night. Liked the olives & tapenade, but reservations about the White Chocolate Bread - rustic / plain would have been better. On its own the bread was good, but rendered the tapenade surplus. Great salads to start (but what was that huge crouton on the caesar for?
Portion sizes adequate. Great cocktails. Good coffee - where was the complimentary biscuit though?

"During our trip we saw several people coming here after their wedding and I just don't think this place is that nice compared to other places we have dined. The pulled pork was surprisingly good. Carpaccio could have been better. The octopus app is decent though. Nice place to sit outside and watch the fountains. Service was pretty attentive too."

"Olives was packed so we had to wait a bit, then got seated at a table right up against a window to the outside patio. I didn't like the table since it was right in the walkway between 2 areas of the restaurant, so 4 waiters walked by 100 times. To me, most people wouldn't be happy with this amount of foot traffic, but it was too late to bother moving.
Food was good, ordering a flatbread was too filling, but our pasta entrees were very tasty. The waiter was fine, but the restaurant is far too dark (had to use my phone to read the menu) and far too noisy.
Dinner with tip and no dessert with a couple beers was about $125.
Maybe I would feel differently with a different table but overall not enough good things to come back for."

"We traveled to Vegas just to visit the great restaurants this city has to offer. OLIVES has always been at the top of the list. Something has changed... "We really enjoyed our meal, probably one of the best dinner's we had during our six night stay. Our waiter was pleasant and efficient. Bartenders were non-attentive, you had to flag them down while they standing around talking to each other."

"I would highly reccomend Olives-Bellagio Hotel to anybody that appreciates good food!
The portobello mushroom on flatbread is a great starter and you can not gpo wrong wioth any entree."

"We waited an extra hour past our reservation to sit on the patio and that saved the night. The servers truly offered only diner style service. Coming yo to table asking if we decided on what we'd like. The food was average at best and overpriced we ordered a flatbread app that came out undercooked and not at all crispy.
It just seemed like they tried to rush turning the outside tables where it was the view that saved the night."

"We have eaten at Olives several times over the years. Always make it a point to eat here when in Vegas. Food was very good again this time but very disappointed that it has changed to chain like features now. Server does not tell you about specials. They just direct you to a special sheet menu insert. It has always been expensive but now the house wine for a glass is $24! Really, our server pointed it out when we ordered as he has had too many upset custmers when the bill arrived."

"Very excited to eat here and the restaurant didn't disappoint. Upon arrival we were told reservation were running on time and was brought to our table with in minutes. We were sitted on the patio. It's was perferct with an unbelievable view of the fountains. The service was great and so was the food. Looking forward to my next visit!"

"This has been a favorite of ours for over ten years whenever we are in Las Vegas , but we won't be going back due to changes from a new executive chef. The Caesar salad , which used to be the best we have ever experienced in our lives, is now a tasteless scoop of pre-chopped romaine and tomato not worthy of a school cafeteria. My adult Mac and cheese came in two dry triangles which had been fried. It was awful and neither of us ate it. My husband's salmon had something very bitter on the plate which ruined the first few bites until he figured out what it was and removed it. Service was adequate but it became awkward to get the waiter back once we weren't quite ready to order. Outdoor patio is stunning with views of Bellagio fountains."

"A magical night! We chose to wait for a patio table and it was so worth the wait. Enjoyed a fabulous dinner with front row seat to the Belleville fountains. I did not want the night to end. Olives will always be on our must do list for Vegas."

"We always have reservations when we go to Olives. We had a 9:00 reservation and we told, along with several other people, it would be an hour to an hour and a half before we would be seated. Totally unacceptable. Several people left. We waited at the bar and after about 15minutes I went back and asked about our table again I was told our table was ready. I'm not sure they would've seated us if I hadn't asked. They need a better system."
