Big Italy is a contemporary/informal dinning restaurant featuring a full bar with sports monitors, a private room with 25 seats and entertainment monitors through the main seating area with Italian trivia, fun facts and Italian hand gestures.
"Sadly this restaurant was a huge disappointment. All the reviews on line were incorrect in praising the food. The food was equivalent to a frozen meal you would get on sale at the grocery store. We went with a very large party and everyone's dish was very bad. From the pasta to the steak and the chicken. The food was season-less and very bad. There was no authentic Italian dish at this restaurant."

"I went to Big Italy with my Italian family for Easter dinner. We're very picky about Italian food, really the only other Italian restaurants in Orlando that we'll go to are Gargi's and Antonio's, so when I say this place gets Italian food right I mean it. No overcooked pasta here, everything is perfectly al dente. They have a huge menu, kind of a cheesecake factory type place for Italian food. The hardest part is just deciding on what you want to eat. The service is fantastic, and the staff looks/acts/& sounds straight out of Italy. They have a happy hour everyday, 2 for 1 wines."

"the food at big Italy was delicious. the place was not that busy at 630 in the evening on a Tuesday but it still took almost 25 minutes to get my first glass of wine. The staff reminded me of a newly opened restaurant. Although it has been there a ling time.."

"The Big Italy is in a strip mall but the food is excellent and staff superb. They of them speak Italian and have that cultural background which makes for a fine experience. This is not an American take on Pizza and Italian, this is pure Italy. If you have traveled to Italy then this is the place for you. If you want the plain Italian American then stay away. We tried the Galeto for the first time and it was like eating pure fruit cold. Lovely!!!"

"A find. All Italian staff delivered the goods. Atmosphere was, in words of one fellow diner, an 'Italian Denny's' but the food was fantastic. Suggest they remove the 100's of favors of pizza sign, because it underplays the Great array of food."

"Met friends from out of town at Big Italy, which was midway between Disney and the airport. Food was good. It is a large restaurant and was able to accomodate our party of 10 easily. The decor is nothing spectacular. It was generally quiet enough to talk, although the piped in music was a little loud at times. The food was good, not great. Literally 100 types of pizzas and 100 types of pasta, which can take some time to figure out. Service was a little slow, but good. I couldn't figure out whether they were giving us time to talk and dine, or whether they were --- well, slow. All in all, a good experience."
