"Tried the small plates for our Sunday brunch, and the Crab Quessadilla was great, and the three small tamales all had wonderful flavors. I was surprised I did not need to worry about overly spiced hot dishes. Very subltle mexican dishes. Best chips I';ve had at a restaurant, though we did need to ask for them to accompany the guacamole. We were not charged, but I think Guac should always come with chips. Sat outside to watch the Sausalito sreet scene. A nice time. The Bruch menu looked interesting, but I could not resist trying the tamales, and my wife really wanted the crab quesadilla. Went to this restaurant after attending a cooking class given by Joanne Weir at Homeward Bound of Marin. She is a co-owner of Copita."

"We were excited to try the latest from Larry Mendel and Joanne Weir and we were not disappointed. The food, drinks, service, decor and location are great! We loved the different ceviches and the mushroom tacos! We were there on a Saturday night and it was hopping. Only difficulty was hearing each other talk. The noise level was five bells! We commented to our waitress (who BTW was excellent) and she said the noise problem/acoustics were being taken care of in a few weeks. Our waitress knew our food preferences from our Open Table notes, which was impressive. We look forward to returning for a llittle less noisy experience! This is a fun spot for before or after a movie, for a light meal, and for a fun time with friends."

"Margaritas are wonderful! The Mahi Mahi tacos were delicious and just the right size. Very comfortable and welcoming restaurant. I highly recommend Copita!"
