Aloha and welcome to Kalaheo Steak and Ribs. This establishment has been serving the people of Kauai for over 30 years. Our vision was to restore the original Kalaheo Steak House and create a premier dining experience with a country-style atmosphere, giving it back to the people of Kalaheo and greater Kauai to enjoy once again.

"Food was good; priced appropriately, I would say. Not cheap; not expensive. Very friendly and courteous wait staff, but inexperienced by city standards. (After appetizers were served, all silverware was removed... Then salads came and no one noticed we had no silverware. I can laugh this kind of thing off... Dumb mistake easily corrected, but indicates lack of coordination and experience).
No need to dress up. Atmosphere is rustic "dress-down".
Lots of cars out front indicate it is a popular spot and they are obviously doing something right. Food itself was very good."

"Aside from the overpriciced menu, which is typical on Kauai, the food was good. My dish was barely warm though. The drinks were not very good. My husband had stomach issues the next day."

"Food was well prepared, but initially it took a while to get a glass of wine. Salads were small and from a bag. Would be excellent at a lower (2/3) the price. Trying to get Merriman's and Roy's prices without the quality and other amenities."

"Good reviews in multiple web rating sites. We had a great meal, which was very reasonably priced for Kauai. Server was excellent. It is also a local favorite, which is a good indicator of where to go.
Only complaint was they had no seafood that night."

"Came here on the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. Their ribeye was perfectly seasoned and well cooked.
Their ribs fell right off the bone and was moist and tender. I'm getting hungry again just writing this.
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wines.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get their steak and rib fix."

"I took my 96 yr old mother in law. She tells everyone about the wonderful experience. The staff was excellent. She says that it was the best Birthday dinner she has ever had. (and she has had plenty of birthdays) The owner was fantastic! Thank you and looking forward to my next meal with them."

"Best place on Kauai for steak and ribs, featuring outstanding steak, prime rib, and beef and baby back rib entrees. Their fish "special" is always a "winner." The ambiance is genuine Kauai "paniolo" (aka, Hawaiian cowboy) style, with old style cowboy photos, decor and music. The service is friendly, engaging and prompt. Definitely a destination for both "locals" and visitors."
