"Dependable for consistently serving good food, Maggie's Farm is our go-to restaurant. Having recently become a vegan, I give a head's up to the chef when making a reservation, and an innovative, delicious meal is thoughtfully prepared for me. Enjoying meat and fish, my husband has never been disappointed by the interesting and delicious food offerings at Maggie's Farm. The friendly members of the staff are always warm and welcoming."

Unusual wine list. We took the remains of our New Zealand Gruner Veltliner to an Austrian neighbor who comes from the part of Austria where the wine was originally produced. He was skeptical, but now wants to get a bottle to take back to Austria on his next visit."

"I had high hopes for Maggies. The online menu looked terrific, and it's had some great reviews.
The service was excellent - polished and professional. And the quality of the food was good - very good.
We had the pork belly small plate, and it was, indeed, a small portion. Tasty, but just a couple bites for each of us.
The burgers were very good, though impossible to pick up and eat - the first "tall food" burger I've had.

"Had the "House Ground Burger with bacon, 'Merican cheese, melted shallots, fried egg, wedges" and "Duck Liver Toast with bourbon + bacon jam, mustard seeds, pickles." Both were really good, but the duck liver toast was INCREDIBLY good. The smokey goodness of the duck liver paired with the crisp, cool taste of the cucumbers was nothing short of brilliant. The burger was made using Roseda Farms, a reliable, local meat which has a more "beefy" flavor than other burgers I have had. Ambience got 3 stars because there's a skilled hand in the kitchen, but there seems to be a lack of skill with the execution of decor. The food and the staff will keep me coming back."

"My friends and I (6) decided to try Maggie's Farm. It is in a row house in Lauraville on Harford Road. Very small kinda a funky smell inside probably because the kitchen is right when you walk in and small. The waitress was sweet artsy type.Three of us had the evenings veggetarian meal. I thought it was horrible.It had very little taste .Two people got the Char(fish). Both said they would never go back again. One friend got the pea asparagus soup and I tried it not bad but not great. She also got the pork belly which tasted like bbq 'd fat. We also got brussel sprout apps-very greasy and some oyster thing that was so small maybe one bite. It was very pricey. It was also very pricey @ 65.00 a piece. We did have 3 bottles of wine."

"Had a fantastic dinner and will definitely be going back. We had a charcuterie plate that was amazing along with the crispy brussel sprouts that were probably the best brussel sprouts I have ever had. I had the steak, which turned out to be a sirloin that night and it was cooked perfectly. My wife had the arctic char, which she loved. Finished off with the pecan pie that came with amazing house made salted caramel ice cream. Many thanks to the staff that was absolutely great."

"I was nervous about trying Maggie's Farm, as I was a huge fan of Chameleon Cafe, but I was not disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was lovely. The crispy brussels sprouts were abundant and salty (which I like); you will definitely take some home if you want room for dinner. The hanger steak was perfectly cooked with crunchy asparagus, and the Chesapeake rockfish was served in a rich oyster stew (though you only get 2 oysters, so if you want an oyster fix, get the appetizer). There was a nice beer list, and the wine list is small, but the choices are nice. All of the wine seemed appropriately priced, and the server was eager to give recommendations. We will definitely be back!"

"The difference between someone like me and a professional is consistency and Maggie's Farm bowls a strike again! Kudos! I was slightly late for my reservation and they were still very gracious. Our Server Gordy was upbeat and very personable.
I ordered the chicken and rosemary waffles and the other member of my party ordered the biscuits and gravy...The chicken and waffles were perfect as is, with no need for extra dressing. Although I did not try the biscuits and gravy, there were no complaints from that side of the table either.
I also ordered a side of eggs...breakfast isn't breakfast without them...and again, perfect!
Maggie's Farm will be on rotation for both brunch and dinner for a long time to come."

"MY MAIN COMPLAINT IS THAT IT WAS TOO DARK TO BE ABLE TO READ THE MENU. THEY SHOULD PUT UP MORE LIGHT TRANSLUCENT CURTAINS FOR US OLDER FOLKS. "Second time there. Enjoyable place, not at all near where I live (in Catonsville). Ingredients are very fresh, meals are great combinations of flavors and textures, imaginative and well-presented. The menu wasn't very extensive, but I think that's by design and allows them to concentrate on a few things at a time and do them very well.
I will definitely be going again. Not inexpensive, but well worth it for their great food from the freshest ingredients. Decent beer and wine choices too."

"i have been to maggie's farm several times and the food and service has always been very good. the menu was changed which was a treat for the regulars. i had the chicken and waffles. the chicken was cooked perfectly and the waffles had a nice crunch. my sister had the fried oysters and reported that they were the best she's ever eaten. for dessert we had the salted caramel ice cream and espresso. a wonderful combination. the service, as always, was very good. the staff is knowledgeable and attentive. do yourself a favor and try maggie's farm - you are sure to have a wonderful dining experience."

"The food was awesome! It was pretty crowded, so we waited a good while for our first course. To compensate, our server brought us a round of complimentary mimosas. All of the staff was very pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend coming here and am looking forward to going back!"

"Not the wait staff's fault, but the kitchen was slow; had to wait 1 hr 15 min for dinner after ordering. Ambiance: very dark, so dark it was difficult the read the menu printed in black ink on dark brown paper. The Camelion was loud, this is no different. Food was OK to good. Fish was cooked just right, but rather plain. Pork chop was very good. Berger was very good. Would look for another place to spend that kind of money on dinner."

"My husband and I heard great things about the changes that had taken place when Chameleon became Maggie's Farm, so we checked it out. We were greeted and seated immediately by very friendly staff. Soon after being seated and served drinks we were moved to a different table because they had put us a table for 4. The staff was very apologetic, and even brought us an order of the smoked trout pate on the house. We shared an order of Brussels Sprouts, which was delicious, and would have been enough for at least 2 more people. I had the rockfish, and my husband had the burger. Both were great. Portions were big so we didn't make it to dessert. I would like to go back to try the cheese and dessert."
