"I never knew about this restaurant until a friend told me to try it. Myself and 3 others went there for dinner before a concert. The place was even open after the concert and we stopped by for some more food. The service was spectacular, everyone was friendly and the food was prepared to perfection. This is a classy place. The ambiance is amazing especially on a beautiful Saturday evening. I recommend Cibo Matto to anyone and everyone. I drove 30 minutes to have dinner here, i would drive an hour if i had to."

"Don't let the surrounding area fool you. Located in a shopping plaza with a convince store, pizza shop and laundry mat, this restaurant could be located in Boston's North End.This was our first time dinning here and we can't wait to go back. Everything from the appetizers to the salads to the entrees were amazing. Although it is an Italian restaurant, they serve so much more; steak, veal, pork even a kids menu. I highly suggest making a reservation as the restaurant is fairly small and seems to fill up quickly."

"My wife picked the place because of the positive reviews of many of her friends.Even though the outdoor dining is along a busy street the noise level didn't interfere with the dinner.
We had four different dinners and they were all great
I'd recommend the place without any reservations, which by the way have to be made through O/T"

"This was the first time we went to Cibo Matto, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We sat outside on a nice Saturday night, the food was delicious, the waitress was excellent, and the drinks were well made, not watered down, really good. It was a bit more costly than we would have thought, but at the end of the night we all agreed it was worth it. Four of us went, and we all enjoyed our meals, especially the duck. We will definitely go back."

"I have been here several times and live in the area. I had my " Chiclettes " out for our monthly meeting and birthday dinner. It was my sisters birthday and I indicated it on my reservation and the server took the extra time to honor her bday! Although we're in different fields now, both my sis and I were servers so we notice good work!!! Be there soon..."

"We've already been back a second time. SE Mass is generally NOT known for inventive menus and locally-sourced food, but Cibo Matto is a real gem. Prices are reasonable, specials ARE special, and ambience is pleasant. Will not be surprised if they outgrow the current space soon. Thanks to Open Table for putting this on the radar screen!"

"I have eaten at this restaurant several times and I have to say it's a 50/50 chance that I will be happy with the food. I continue to go, because I have several friends that I meet there due to it's location. It used to be a Newport Creamery years ago and although it no longer looks like one...it's still set up like one. Mostly booths..side by side. The last 2 visits I had, I was very happy with my martini, but this time I had to order 2 because the glass was only 2/3rds full. I should have complained, but it's not my nature and our waitress was so nice. Will I go back...out of necessity...yes, but not because the food, alcohol or atmosphere is overly impressive."

"This restaurant is always a pleasure to visit. Very fresh and vibrant menu with unique flavors and some of the best specials anywhere.
Also the bar area is always friendly. The bar tenders are always willing to hand stuff blue cheese olives for my favorite martini."

"We go to Cibo Matto all the time and we don't have enough nice things to say! The staff is incredibly attentive and knowledgable - you will always get an honest, meaningful opinion about the food and wine. Specifically, the bar staff is fantastic and really is what keeps us coming back. Kyla, Matt and Steven are so friendly and they know who everyone is. It feels like you are coming in to meet up with a friend every time you step in there to see them. We love that Cibo is open 7 days a week and that there is so much diversity on the menu!"

"This was my 3rd visit to Cibo Matto and looking forward to it as a post Confirmation dinner for my daughter but we were disappointed. The food was only mediocre. I has sword fish only ok, my son has a pork chop which was not cooked all the way through. It was expensive-$140 for 4 people. I won't be back and can't recommend. I'm sorry because I really liked it."

"I believe our server's name was Rachel and she was fantastic, despite it being an extremely busy night. The food is always delicious and we love coming here at least a few times a month.
