Crudo means Raw in Italian, that is one of our specialties. Our sashimi style plates are started with fresh fish, olive oil, citrus and sea salt and finished with perfectly paired accompaniments to enhance the texture and flavor of the plate. Our modern Italian menu is inspired by local and seasonal ingredients to create unique and memorable dishes. In addition to crudo, we have a variety of handmade cooked dishes and wood fire grilled meats. In our bar and lounge you can enjoy a nibble with garden to glass cocktails or sip on after dinner drinks.
"Beautiful place, big open space, very knowledgeable staff, and very fun menu and coursing options. Cocktails are amazing and so is the food. This is one of my favorite AZ restaurants. The coursing menu is the way to go. Unlike most coursing menus I have tried the portions are awesome and you walk out stuffed! 5 Stars for sure!!"

"Three words for you...Squid Ink Risotto! Absolutely amazing! Actually everything we had was amazing, the butterfish, the yellow tail, the short rib and the pork belly! Very happy with Crudo and will be back sooner than later."

"The food is amazing! I'd recommend doing the coursings so you can try a lot more food. The mixologist is fantastic! I will say create me a drink that's refreshing, not too sweet with whiskey and something amazing comes out every time! Although I spend more money here than I normally would on dinner ($80 person average), it's worth every penny!"

"I ate here on the last night they were open in their old location (in the salon) and thought the food was outstanding. My only complaint was the pretentious waitress.
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner . I was surprised at how nice it was inside because the front of the strip mall it's housed in isn't much to look at. We each chose the 5 course for $55. We ordered all different things so we could try more dishes. We also ordered a bottle of wine and a side of the crispy pig ears. They were delicious. As a sashimi fan I ordered mostly off the crudo side of the menu plus some burrata. Everything was top notch. The watress kept our wine glasses full. One course followed the other perfectly. We love this place and will be back."

"Saturday night, anniversary dinner. Started in the bar with some champagne, burrata & fried pigs ears - the evening only elevated from there. Maureen, our server was fantastic - from the wine recommendations to the explanations of each dish on the menu. Everything was phenomenal and we will be back soon!"

"I thought the ambiance was okay? Prefer something a little brighter and wish there were more tables by windows. there was a private party on the outside patio, where we would have preferred to sit. The food was excellent! Loved everything!"

"The modern yet cozy decor and ambiance definitely lends itself to a romantic setting. The service was superior and mixed drinks were amazing! As for dinner, I highly recommend the 5-course Corso and get a least one from each of the four styles - absolutely delicious and impeccable presentation. I would never have imagined that Crispy Pig Ears and a gourmet Twinkie would be part of the best dining experiences I've had!
A return visit has become mandatory."

"An interesting menu, stylish but stark interior, and good service all around. Enjoyed trying a range of plates and sharing with my friend. We loved the mushroom entree with a fried egg on top, the mozarella dishes (one with ricotta and one with tomato and balsamic), and a very yummy desert (the crisp)as our favorites of the night."

"My 3 guests and I are demanding, but Crudo exceeded our expectations leaving us very happy on all counts. Reception was welcoming, attentive, and professional. Service was spot on with the best menu rendition in memory. Each plate arrived and was presented as the treat it is… Amongst 17 plates served, we were rewarded with nice portions and no losers.
Top notch creative menu. Best German dumpling since I was a kid. Packed with flavors and unique offerings. Foodies not to miss… First time a Super Tuscan by the glass has been offered to me and it was terrific both in elegance and price point. Bravo!
Chef Cullen kindly emailed a recipe that I have been searching for ages.
When done we wanted to stay and start all over."

"I read positive reviews about Crudo's chef in the paper, so when my son came into town I made a reservation. Just driving up to the back of the shopping center, you feel like you're in another neighborhood...fabulous. We liked the entrance, so Italian. We absolutely loved the restaurant, the food and the ambiance. Every course was so creative, tasty, and unique. My husband and I will definitely return in the future!"

"Amazing crudo- some if the best I've had but ambience is lacking. Nothing on walls and tables spread so far apart makes you feel like they ran out if money and were trying to save somewhere. Would definitely go back."

"First time at Crudo. Had a 3 course meal of the following: Crudo - Yellowtail, Mains - Mushroom with Egg, Squid Ink Risotto. My husband had the following: Main: Gnocchi, Grilled - Butterfish, Pork Belly. All of the food was fantastic. This easily ranks in the top three meals that I have ever eaten in my life. We will definitely be back. 3 courses is more than enough, provided you don't get all Crudo or Mozzas (the latter a guess since we didn't actually partake). Both of us left full, and completely happy. We will definitely be back. The star for hubby was the Pork belly, and for me it was the Mushroom, though all of the food was amazing."

"This place is truly a gem of a restaurant! Our waitress was all schooled up on the unique cuisine this place has to offer. We started out with one of their many interesting cocktails. We had the Kitty Hawk and it was fabulous. There is also a very well considered wine list. After our waitress explained how to order - suggesting to choose 3,4, or 5 courses (all reasonably priced) we were off to the races choosing the 4 course ride. The menu can certainly be confusing to the first time customers only because the food is unique. I don't want to demystify everything because that was definitely part of the fun. However, we ate a raw course, then a cheese course, followed by a hot course, and the finish for us was a dessert course. Goodness!"

"We love it here. This is nothing like any Italian restaurant we've been too. Everything is unique, made with fresh ingredients and priced right. The only problem here is finding the place. They are located in a strip mall at 36th st & Indian School, but the problem is that they are on the back side of the mall. This is our third time here, so we knew where to go. With this location they will never get any drive by business, only diners that have heard of the place, or repeat diners. I just hope this location does not cause their demise down the road. This is one of the best restaurants in the valley and I would sure hate to see them close as a result of a poor location."

"This was our second time at Crudo. We loved it the first visit but enjoyed it more the second time. Our server remembered us - a month later. The course menus was a little more familiar to us. Everything we ordered was great - though I have to put in a good word for the mushroom dish. This is a place I could recommend for high-end clients or foodie friends or even big date night. Noise level is such that you can talk, food is amazing and service is well-paced but definitely not hurried. It is the total package."

"As usual I rely on Open Table to find a great place to eat and this was no exception. I was originally drawn to the idea of raw food for my vegetarian friend, but instead this turned into an evening out with her and 4 other non vegetarian friends. We enjoyed our nook table for six, our server was outstanding and knowledgeable and always there when we needed her. The food and wine suggestions, service pacing, and overall experience was great. I'm moving to the area and will definitely return."

"Menu is very limited, but everything we had was delicious. We had the 5 course selection each, so 10 items in all, which allowed us to sample almost the entire menu. The price was incredibly reasonable, and we ended up taking the short rib home because we were too full. So it is an excellent value for what is in effect a 10-course tasting menu. 4 choices each would have been sufficient. The raw section was our favorite, along with the butternut squash dumpling. Short rib was tender but bland. Mushroom gratin was excellent. We didn't have room for desert!"

"The main menu is divided into four parts: salads, raw dishes, braised and grilled. The first two categories are suitable for appetizers and the second two are main courses, but you can mix them up. They are priced separately, but if you are going to have more than 2 dishes I would suggest the pri-fixe pricing. Five of us were happy with our meals. Portions were just right and nicely presented. The sixth person didn't like his main course and sent it back. He was offered a replacement dish. I would not bring children to this restaurant, unless they remain asleep in their car seats under the table. Speaking of tables, ours was an old door, refinished in a very interesting way."

"My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner last wknd it everything we had was really good. We did the 4-course menu each and ordered 1 item from each category (raw, cooked, grilled, mozz), so we both go to try about 8 diff dishes btwn the 2 of us. I thought a few dishes could've used a bit more salt and were a little bland (mushroom dish), but overall I have no complaints. Short rib for my grilled dish was probably my favorite. I definitely recommend this place!"

"We started off in the bar with some absolutely fantastic drinks (at happy hour prices no less). We then moved to our table where the service was outstanding, but the food was even better. The waitress did a fantastic job explaining the menu, and the courses came out at the perfect pace -- not rushed, but not too far between."

"I was served a meat course that was 75% fat. Maureen said she would take it off our bill, but instead comped 2 items lesser in value. Twinkie dessert was mediocre. Crudo course and truffle mushroom dish were outstanding. Maureen is a real asset, and very accomodating."

"I was blown away with Crudo, truly a Phoenix gem! I travel all over the country and this is some of the best food I've ever had. I was in Phoenix for business just a few days. I liked it so much the first night, I went back a second night before my departure. I would contemplate moving to Phoenix so I can eat at Crudo more frequently. The albacore Crudo, Risotto, and homeade Dumpling dishes are some of my favorite, but I highly recommend trying everything. The menu can be confusing to a first timer, but the staff does a fabulous job explaining the food and what to expect. It's melt in your mouth delicious. The only issues I have with Crudo is that it's tucked in the back of the plaza and that I can't eat there more frequently."
