"What a delight this little place is. Went on Mother's Day with family who live in area and knew about it. Took a friend on following Wed. Also lives in area but had never heard of it. We enjoyed their " Two for $20" Wed special. More food than the 2 of us could eat! What fun."

"This is worth the drive....and don;t pass it up ! The food is served piping hot, the portion sizes are unbelievable(a take-home box is always to be had)the Italian food is some of the best around and the service is great. Due to its small size its a reservation needed place and don;t forget the cash...no credit cards accepted. We have been more than once and will continue to return."

"We were pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in Lexana after arriving in Richmond and driving to Williamsburg. We almost thought it was closed - they could do a better job making 'Open' apparent from outside. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Enjoyed visiting with our waitress, but the other waitress and waitor in the room just hung around - annoying. The other waitress continued to talk to our waitress as though a customer was not in the restaurant - buggy. Nevertheless we enjoyed our food and were happy we stopped."

"Hidden in the back of a campground - this restaurant is worth the trouble finding. Best Italian food I've had outside of New York. Disappointing they don't take credit cards - it cost me $5.00 to take money out of their ATM between my bank and their ATM's fees."

"Really good Italian food - such a surprise out in the middle of nowhere! Wines by the glass were only $6.00 and the chianti was very good. Service was very good, in a downhome way - don't expect upscale! Ambiance is definitely NOT upscale, so don't go looking for that, and be happy with the food!"

"I was very disappointed with the Crab Cakes for the price.
You could tell that it was crab from a can instead of good quality lump crab which was what I expected for the price, the quality of food was just not there for me.

I will not be returning!"
