"I have eaten at Jubilee many times over the years in it's original location and always had a great meal. Mother's Day Brunch was my first time at the new place which is a larger and brighter venue. The food has been consistently very good here and the new space adds a fresh face to an old favorite restaurant in the Sutton Place area. Prices are moderate, the staff is friendly and helpful and the food is consistently top notch French-inspired fare."

"Fairly low noise level even when it became crowded. I could converse with my friends without shouting. No loud music. I am trying to shun loud restaurants."

"Have been going there for many, many years. The size of the new place is great, but the tables are very close together. iIknow how difficult it is to get good help these days and I'm sure you try, but a Hispanic waiter who doesn't speak English very well, let alone French, doesn't enhance the experience. I guess I'm just too old. I remember the glory days of all the fine restaurants in New York, but I still look forward to going to Jubilee. For me the Calvados mussels are almost too good. I eat the sauce with a spoon."

"Boy, our favorite restaurant went down onour list. The food was not that good. Did not like the ratatoui that was served with the salmon....the mussells were too large and the mushroom ravioli my husbnd had was like little noodles in a broth. i don't know if they have a new chef, but we will give it another chance and that it. Also, they raised their prices quite a bit, so the food quality should stay the same or better. We also requested another table next to us and he said it was reserved. No one ever came in to use the table."

"the ambiance is comfortable yet elegant with great service. You can't go wrong with the mussels, but everything is good. The only thing missing from their menu is their raspberry gratine which was a divine dessert."

"My husband and I are on a quest to find the most fabulous non-chocolate souffle.... we had a fine Grand Marnier souffle... Good food... we both just loved the decor... old books on shelves and a fun looking crowd... we actually snuck a peak in a book about the worlds fairs... great evening"

"The mussels are excellent. The stripped sea bass was also excellent. The french fries are delicious and are served hot. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the specials. The staff always greet customers in a welcoming manner. They have a very good selection of food. I highly recommend this restaurant. Go between 6 - 6:30 when the restaurant is still not as busy."

"We love Jubilee and think it successfully fills a need: an adult restaurant that serves good, well prepared food. However, the service seemed a little less efficient than usual: a salad was forgotten, entrees were delivered at different times and so forth. They're small inconveniences, but notable and have a detrimental effect on the overall dining experience."

"This is a first rate local restaurant in a residential neighborhood which is a bit out of the way. The tone and quality of this place make it unnecessary to travel further afield to spend an enjoyable time with family or friends. As a longtime Beekman/Sutton Placer, I am grateful for the quality and the convenience."

"We returned to our favorite neighborhood restaurant, Jubilee, after an absence of a few months. I am happy to report that it is even better now. Best value in the city: Prosper Mafoux Cote du Rhone on the wine list. This was the house wine at the fabled Lutece."

"This excellent neighborhood restaurant, now in a new location, features mussels in several different sauces. It also has a fine menu of other choices. But the mussels are irresistible."

"We frequently ate at the old Jubilee and missed it when it closed. This new version is even better than the old. It is more spacious, doesn't pile diners on top of one another, and is attractively decorated. The food is, as always, simple, reasonably priced and special. The mussels were wonderful, probably the best we've eaten anywhere in New York, and the fries were fresh and crisp, not out of a frozen food bag as in many other places. The service was unrushed although, to be fair, we were there at noon on a Saturday, not their busiest time. Although not in our immediate neighborhood, we will now consider Jubilee one of our regular dining spots. We are happy to have rediscovered it."

"This restaurant at the original location was always one of my 'go to' places. The new spot is much roomier and nicely decorated and the food has remained a high quality meal. Unfortunately, the wait staff leave much to be desired. Our waiter was in such a rush, he asked to take our order without telling us specials. Once the order was placed, he neglected to bring the accompanying salad with one of the meals and was annoyed when it was pointed out to him. When the bill came, we split the cost between credit card and cash; however, he took the cash and charged the full amount on the credit card. When this was pointed out to him, he never apologizied, but again became annoyed and run the card again. Wait staff need much better training"

"Jubilee is known for its mussels, prepared in different and exciting ways. The restaurant is not a one-trick pony. The entrees are prepared skillfully from excellent ingredients. The loup d'mer is outstanding as is the salmon. We sat in the quieter part of the restaurant and enjoyed the ambience. Service warm and friendly as always."

"My friend and I enjoyed our Friday night dinner@Jubilee.The food and service were very good. The only negative issue was the placement of the tables. When we entered@6pm,it was not too busy. The tables in the back room are just on top of each other. We were seated next to a couple and by the end of the meal,I was able to recite the entire life stories of both people.Very uncomfortable. In addition, there were three screaming children in this same area, which detracted from the lovely atmosphere. Perhaps the management should try to reconfigure the set up in this back room.Otherwise,an enjoyable dining experience."

"terrible experience. reserved a table and was seated by the door, huzz and buzz all over, tables too close to each other, decor non-descript, food mediocre. what's the profile of this place??? after extensive travel in France over last years, this place is a bad name for French dining"

"Went with my husband and daughter on a Friday evening. First time at the new location which is much bigger and has more ambiance than the old one. (We hate places where the tables are right on top of each other) We sat in the middle room which was spacious and pretty. Service was friendly and attentive. Terrine de foie gras great as was the ravioli and the scallops. Good wine selection. Wish they had left the duck confit on the menu. We wmill definitely be back."
