Elegant, Northwest farm inspired, artisanal American. Our goal is to celebrate our Northwest roots and pay homage to the farmers and ranchers that make Oregon special. Our menu changes in concert with the seasons.
Our wine list is focused mainly of French and Northwest wines... there is a french phrase 'Lutte Raisone'- 'The Good fight'- a commitment to do what is best for the land at all times. Our list reflects this philosophy.
"Everything started out wonderful the appetizer was lovely...presentation & taste delicious. We ordered the Steak. First, there menu is not updated online on their actual site! It was served on a white plate sitting on top of a dark gravy that did not have a unique or good flavor there was no vegetables except a lemon wedge was on the plate. Which seemed odd. The steak was a massive cut cooked beautifully but over half of the size was fat and bone. For that meat only kind of eater this probably would have been perfect. But go to a steak house for that .Dining at June should be a culinary experience. I dine out a lot and do because of the talented chefs in our region. We seek taste that we cant get at home. This was sadly a disappointment."

"Got a little loud, service lagged a couple times, but once the food started coming out everything was brilliant. Had a great cocktail, the table enjoyed a great starter (and amazing bread), our server was friendly and kept us abreast of all changes on the menu/in the kitchen, and everyones' dishes were excellent. Also, STAY for dessert! We spent nearly 3 hours over dinner in here and it was wonderful."

"Mixed experience - the appetizers (buckwheat dumplings & cheese); and sturgeon entree were amazing... burger, octopus were deemed "ok". Service was good, but wine pours by glass were less than typical. We brought a bottle of wine, so we only experienced thsi on the cocktail portion. Server staff was very friendly and accommodating. Its a great location for a night out, as it is near other places if you want to get drinks or dessert."

"I read other reviews and just want to say....I had a GREAT time...sat at the bar and had tasting menu...all delicious and complex..... Server was nice and savvy - not 'attitudy'....maybe chef gregory did some "adjusting" after reading prior OT & Yelp entries.... it's on my DEFINITELY return to list...cheers!"

"Very disappointed in the food here. So wanted to love June, but every dish we tried was completely one-note with the exception of the complimentary beet ice cream/ lemon wafer canapes. We ordered the charred octopus, sardine, buckwheat dumplings, beets in lamb confit. The flavors were flat in all of these dishes and the presentation was more interesting than the flavor.
Service was quite decent-- friendly, helpful, not overbearing."

"First, this is not a French Restaurant. In all honesty the best thing I can say about this restaurant is 1) they have decent wine list 2) if your a purest the flavors were fresh and vibrant 3) they source there food well. That being said, the overall experience was highly dissapointing and the food simply average. Salt is not a garnish and while food needs to be seasoned it should be done evenly not just thrown on at the last second. If your going to experiement with flavor combinations make sure they work. The beef stuffed apple was neither an entree nor did the flavor work well together. Lets get over beets please. Realy you started with spicy beet ice cream which was not spicy and set a horrible tone."

"Horrible service. This was Valentine's for gosh sake. Made us stand for 30 minutes. No real explanation on why they did not have a table ready. Others came in after us that were obviously friends of a waitress and were seated before us. We walked out and will never go back."

"We came for an early dinner (6:15pm) in late January. The restaurant was very quiet. We got the sampler menu. There were several items that were excellent but others were just okay. When asked our opinion by the wait staff we told them what we thought. At the end of the meal we said thanks to the kitchen staff which they acknowledge but, as we walked away, I heard some very sarcastic comments. The whole meal was a very Portlandia experience."

"Overall, we had a wonderful meal which has been our experience multiple times at June. The starters were all different and delicious, especially the smoked delicata squash and lamb mortadella. And two of the main courses (the steelhead and tuna confit) were excellent. Two in the group has the salt cod ravioli which were good, but just not as wonderful as all the other seafood dishes we have had there. Still, the evening was a success and we will definitely go again."

"We are always looking to try new foods and restaurants. June didn't disappoint. Wine poached beets and chestnuts- loved that dish! The waitress was great- knowledgeable and very friendly. The tuna was perfect and steelhead was delicious. Dessert was excellent as well."

"The whole team were wonderful and were very interested in making me happy. The 4 courses I had were all incredible, a culinary delight. The wine list had uniqueness that I appreciate as a wine lover, not the typical take that we find in most restaurants, these guys really took the time to get quality and not quantity of regular plunk. Wine prices were extremely fair as was the meal. If I lived in Portland Oregon, I would make this my favorite spot."
